Czech Republic : Business Visa

Checklist of documents required (updated as on 1st August 2023):

(a) its validity shall extend at least three months after the intended date of departure
from the territory of the Member States or, in the case of several visits, after the last
intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States
(b) it shall contain at least two blank pages
(c) it shall have been issued within the previous 10 years
1 (d) no alteration or handwritten amendment concerning the data page
Duly filled VISA application form with signature on point no 37 and last point as per
passport, along with all other visa forms with signature, related to business visit visa
2 application.
Two passport size latest photographs as per these specifications: Size 35X45mm,
white background, face should comprise 80% of the photo, wearing dark clothes,
3 without eyewear andboth ears should be clearly visible and no teeth to be shown
Covering letter by company on their letterhead addressed to ‘The Embassy of Czech
Republic, New Delhi’ giving all the below mentioned details about the business trip.
Letter to be stamped & signed by authorized signatory with his/her name and
designation.
 Name & designation of applicant along any with other travelling , if any.
 Travel date along with itinerary and duration of stay
 Mention the meeting schedule during the travel period
4  Purpose of visit - meeting/conference/training or business related events
Latest 6 months updated personal bank statement with bank stamp & signature on
5 each page.
6 Personal ITR copy for last 3 years
7 Latest 3 months salary slips with company stamp & signature
8 Copy of Company Registration document (Certificate of Incorporation/MOA etc.)
Invitation letter from the Invitor Company in English on their letterhead addresed to
‘The Embassy of Czech Republic, New Delhi’ mentioning all details of the applicant ,
meeting schedule and intended travel dates.
Letter to be stamped & signed by authorized signatory with his/her name and
designation.
 Name & designation of applicant along any with other travelling , if any.
 Travel date along with itinerary and duration of stay
 Mention the meeting schedule during the travel period
9  Purpose of visit - meeting/conference/training or business related events
Declaration letter if you are unable to provide any document or wish to give any
11 explanation.
Return Flight Tickets along with internal transportation reservation confirmation if
12 changing cities.
13 Confirmed hotel bookings with applicant name mentioned in the reservation
Overseas Medical Travel Insurance covering theentire travel period with minimum
14 coverage of 30,000/- Euros

Important Information:

Business visa application is applicable in case you are travelling for business purposes. This visa
is given for travel period of less than 90 days. This visa will be issued for business purpose only;
for gainful professional activities (even if the work is not financially rewarded) you have to
apply for a work permit.

The European Union has introduced the Biometric system (Fingerprints & Digital Photo)to apply
for all Schengen country visas since 2ndNovember 2015 & all applicants have to visit respective
facilitationcentre of Embassy/Consulate for the same.

This biometric data will be valid for a period of 5 years. The applicantis not required to give
any biometric again while applying for any Schengen country for the said period. (Subject to
change as per Consulate/Embassy guidelines)

Following applicants are exempted from biometrics:

• Children under 12 years of age
• Applicants for whom the collection of fingerprints is physically impossible
• Sovereigns and other senior members of a royal family, Heads of State and members of the
national Governments (with their official delegations and spouses) if they travel for official
purposes

Premium Lounge
The VFS Premium Service Lounge is available at the visa application centers in
Delhi/Ahmedabad/Chennai/Cochin/Hyderabad/Mumbai/Pune/Bangalore/Kolkata Whitefield
and it offers:
This service includes:
• Direct access to a Premium Service counter where our staff will verify the documents
provided, and take payment in a single location
• Cold and hot beverages available at your disposal
• A dedicated team member assisting during the submission process
• Photocopy, Printing, Photograph, SMS and Courier services
• The option of submitting any missing documents before 16:00 the same day
• This service does not guarantee the right to obtain a visa, nor faster processing of your visa
application by the Mission. Using the Premium Lounge service does not guarantee the
success of your visa application or affect the service standard.

The Premium Lounge Service costs 3020 /- INR+ VFS Logistics (All VFS’s service charges are
inclusive of Goods & Service Tax –SGST @9% and CGST@9%)

Important Note:
1) Granting or refusing the visa is at sole discretion of respective Embassy/Consulate/High
commissions. Odyssey Tours & Travels only assists in the visa application process & doesn’t
give any guarantees or assurances about the approval of the VISA or the time frame for
processing the visa application
2) Documents may vary on case to case basis and Embassy/VFS may ask for some additional
documents from the applicant as well as call the applicant for a personal interview
3) The duration of the visa and whether its for Single / Multiple entry is at the sole discretion of
the consulate
