Game rules
Game Accounts
A player can have only one Riot account active on their account.

You are not allowed to share or use another person’s game account.

TEAMS AND ROSTERS


Each team’s roster must consist of at least 5 players.

Once the tournament starts, you cannot replace any player.

A player is allowed to represent only one Team.

Player must be a student at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR).

Tournament will follow Best of One format. Maps will be chosen through Veto
format.

CHEATING
All cheats are completely forbidden to use under any circumstance while playing the
tournament sing any cheat will result in bans and disqualifications.

Any decision regarding any disputes in the matches will be in control of the
moderator. He can disqualify any team.

TOURNAMENT
OVERVIEW
QUALIFIERS
Online qualifiers match will start after registration and will be Single Elimination BO1.

PLAYOFFS
Top 8 teams will qualify to Playoffs. There would be double elimination BO1 format
being followed here.

FINALS
Top 3 matches would be qualifying for this round where both finale matches will
be based on best of three LAN on 23-24th March

NOTE: Finale and Grand Finale Matches will be carried out on offline LAN event on
23rd-24th March

GENERAL

All participants are expected to maintain sportsmanship and respectful behavior
during matches.

Offensive language, bullying, or any form of harassment will not be tolerated.

Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants

FAIR-PLAY
Cheating, hacking, or exploiting game mechanics is strictly prohibited.

The use of unauthorized third-party software is not allowed.

COMMUNICATION
Players may only communicate within their own team during matches.

Communication with spectators or players from other teams during a match is prohibited.

TECHNICAL
ISSUES
Pauses:
Only tournament pauses are allowed.

Stoppage of Play Procedure


A player experiencing technical issues on either team may call for a technical pause.

The player requesting the technical pause must be experiencing one of the following:

Hardware malfunction (e.g. any equipment malfunction)

Physical disruption (e.g. breaking furniture)

Game configuration problems.

The game should be paused, and the Game Lead should be contacted immediately.

In the event of a game server crash, the Game Lead will determine next steps

The decision to remake a game lobby is at the sole discretion of the Tournament Operator.

IITR Esports will have control over the results of the tournament.
