ATTENDANCE COMMITMENT FORM

I commit to having perfect attendance and follow the attendance policy. This is to improve attendance,
performance, and productivity.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME:

1. Complete # of days present for the month = more coaching time, more opportunities to improve performance = more
incentives
2. Full salary for the pay period. More money for self and family.
3. Good record in the company. Your attendance says a lot of your work. This “good record” will come in handy for
movements and promotions within the company, even application to other companies, etc.
4. Lessen OT requirement in the program due to deficit in staffing

REINFORCEMENT OF ATTENDANCE POLICY

WHAT AGENT/EMPLOYEE NEEDS TO DO:

If for an unfortunate reason that agent/employee is hospitalized and unable to come in to work, he/she would need to
do the ff:

1. Ask permission by calling/messaging Supervisor – at least 2 hours’ prior my shift – failure to do so will merit an NCNS
and will merit a DAF. My Supervisor may approve or decline my absence request.
2. Provide a valid medical certificate upon returning to work covering all dates of absences
3. Unauthorized absence will merit a DAF

No excuses such as:

1. I am too sick to call/ask permission from my leaders


2. No more load
3. I was too sick to go to the hospital
4. Girl/boyfriend, parents, kids are not allowed to ask permission from leaders
5. I don’t know my supervisor’s phone number
6. I was asleep so I failed to answer my phone when my supervisor called back/messaged me back.
7. I have no internet, so I cannot message or call

WHAT SUPERVISORs NEEDS TO DO:


1. If agent/employee called and supervisor failed to answer, the supervisor must call the agent/employee back
immediately
2. Supervisor to validate if absence is valid or not valid and update status in Attendance tracker in SharePoint within shift
3. Supervisor to include approved absences in attendance forecast
4. Supervisor to coach/DAF the agent/employee as soon as agent/employee is in and document the logs in PULSE/DMS
5. Upon return, supervisor is required to have a 1x1 recorded coaching/DAF discussion with sign off.
6. Recorded coaching to be saved in Attendance 1x1 Discussion channel in Teams
WHAT MANAGER NEEDS TO DO:
1. Validate Supervisor approved absence based on Attendance tracker in SharePoint – Check medical documents if
submitted; Intervene as necessary to ensure attendance is good.
2. Observe 1x1 sessions for most of the cluster’s absences especially for Supervisors with high absenteeism.
3. Unapproved absences should be accounted for and needs intervention. Issue corrective action as needed.
4. Daily discussions with SOM: daily attendance as well as 1x1 discussion compliance to the 1x1 coaching discussions.

Sample Unapproved Absences:

1. headache 5. dizziness/lack of sleep


2. tummy ache/diarrhea/LBM 6. URTI
3. toothache 7. flimsy excuses; etc.
4. sore throat

Failure to do the things mentioned above will result to a disciplinary action/removal from company.
