This movie is so sad and so good. Seeing herself in her daughter remind me the quote
"Daughters live their mothers' destinies." I guess it was something like that but you know what I
mean. This hurts even more than the whole movies itself. 8,5/10 I'd say.

I tried to get through this movie after hearing so many "gushing" comments about it... but I
couldn't make it. Turned it off and never went back. Totally unbelievable, with lackluster acting.
PASS.

Actually , I'm a bit disappointed

She could've broken her engagement before going to see her ex. That would've change a lot of
things but I guess you gotta cheat tha's way better.
The movie was 2hours long and the Urst decision she made herself was to cheat, sad

Urst, and she couldn't hold herself up when she met him, he is the one who kissed her and
triggered her emotion so that they could have sex, no one is to blame and not much of a
issue

She was engaged and she wanted to see an ex so she lied to her Uancee, went alone
without telling anybody else because she had such pure intentions.
You can defend her, but please, don't act like she did nothing wrong

I disagree, i feel like she was just naive to think that now after being so happy and engaged,
she wouldnt fall for him. After seeing him in the papers she was curious how he has been
and what he was doing, maybe also getting an answer to her question, why he never wrote.
There is no right and wrong imo.

She loves both of them, but as she described it herself, she is two different persons with
each of them, but with Noah she feels the most natural, happy, and herself. remember how
she described that she never painted anymore with the new guy?... It's that longing to stay
young even while growing older. Others excuse their decisions because they need to be
responsible and mature, even though it feels right.

Her mother literally had the same experience, but chose the rich guy, the security, while
obviously some part of her, still loved this stranger in the factory and made her cry. It's no
coincidence, than women can choose their man for life. Many i think ignore the "one love"
and choose the richer/secure guy.

t's a womans story i think. Allie had the courage to choose love. But obviously you could
argue that she had no other choice after the other guy basically broke up with her because
she cheated.
