For Situation where the cotton pad is suitable, failure shall be deemed to have occurred when flames and/or hot gases cause flaming or glowing of the cotton pad b. For situation where the use of cotton pad is not suitable, failure shall be deemed to have occurred when either: 1. The 6mm diameter gap gauge can penetrate a through gap such that the end of the gauge project into the furnace and the gauge can be moved in the gap for a distance of at least 150 mm or 2. The 25 mm diameter gap gauge can penetrate a through gap such that the end of the gauge projects into the furnace Insulation Failure shall be deemed to have occurred when one of the following occurs: a, If the mean unexposed face temperature increases by more than 140 °C above its initial value b. If the Temperature recorded at any position on the unexposed face reaches 180 °C above the initial mean unexposed face temperature. c. Impermeal ity 1. Cotton Fibre Pad was used for observation of flame but no flaming or hot gases is, Observed and Cotton Fiber pad was found in normal condition 2. No cracks or holes were observed throughout the test span of 120 minutes, 3. No flaming was observed during the entire test span of 120 minutes Result of Insulation The Average temperature of the unexposed face of Lovdroc TR, Rociwvool Panel 80 was found to be 169.1°C. Which was below the require limit i. (140 + 33.4°C = 173.4 °C) Hence The Lloydroc TR Rockwool Panel 80 panel passed in Integrity and Insulation test for 120min, Integrity: 120min. Insulation 120 min, Conclusion: 1. Test was terminated before the occurrence of failure. Test was terminated after 120" minute. 2. The results only relate to the behaviour of the specimen of the element of construction under the particular condition of test; they are not intended to be the sole criteria for assessing the potential fire performance of the element in use nor do they reflect the actual behaviour in fires. .
