Questions:
1. What is Routing and what is the deference between Router and Routing? [4]
2. Write down the types of Access Control List. [2]
3. What is Network Address Translations (NAT)? [5]
4. Write down the one major deference between Static NAT and Dynamic NAT. [4]

Refer to the following diagram and Network Address answer the following questions.

5. Suppose, you will configure DHCP in Router R2 for LAN-2.

i. Write a possible IP address you may use in the “default-router” command: . . . . . . . . . . [1]
ii. Write the network address and subnet mask you will use in the “network” command: [3]

6. Now, we want to configure NAT and for that we need to correctly configure routing command in R1, R2, R3 and ISP
router. Write down the required routing commands for R1, R2 & R3. [6]
7. Suppose, you will configure Static and Dynamic NAT in NAT-Router Router.

i. Which interfaces of NAT-Router will you configure as “inside” and which interfaces as “outside”? [3]

ii. For configuring NAT, we use 1st Public IP address for FTP Server Static NAT and 2nd to 4th Public IP
address use for Dynamic Routing. Now write down the NAT configuration step by step.

i. After NAT is correctly configured, if a Web Server with IP address 193.16.20.132 in the Internet is accessed
from a PC with IP address 192.168.YYY.10, from the output “show ip nat translations”, what will be the
NAT table? [4]
