- Skin contact : Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin thoroughly with
soap and water. If irritation develops, seek medical attention
- Eye contact : Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least
15 min. Remove contact lenses, if present. Continue rinsing Consult with
an ophthalmologist immediately in all cases
- Inhalation : Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep him calm. If cough or other
symptoms develop, seek medical attention.
- Ingestion : Wash out mouth with water and keep at rest. Seek medical attention. Do
not induce vomiting, in case if medical help is not readily available and
when the patient is conscious (vomit should not go into the respiratory air
tract)

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal precautions, protective : Adsorb on to sand, earth or a similar adsorbent material and shovel into
equipments and emergency procedure waste drums.
Environmental Precautions : Avoid release to the environment..Avoid discharge into drains. Contact
local authorities in case of spillage
Methods and material for containment : Eliminate all ignition source. Take precautionary measures against static
and cleaning up discharge
Large Spills : stop the flow of the material, if this is without risk. Use a
non-combustible material like sand or earth to soak up the product and
place into container for later disposal
Small spills : Wipe up with absorbent material(eg. Cloth, fleece). Clean
surface thoroughly to remove residual contamination.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
General Advice : Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Keep container tightly
sealed. Handle and open container with care.
Protection against fire and explosion : Vapors may form ignitable mixture with air. Avoid all sources of ignition:
heat, sparks, open flame. Avoid extreme heat.
Conditions for Safe Storage
General Advice : Keep Containers tightly closed. Stored in unopened containers under
cool, dry and well-ventilated isolated area. Storage temperature should
not exceed 50 deg. C.
Storage incompatibility : Segregate from acids and bases. Segregate from strong oxidizing agents.
Do not store with foodstuff.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Engineering control standards : Dry, well ventilated isolated area use of flameproof fittings. Material
handling in closed system. Use local exhaust ventilation.
