(CLAIRE JOY suspension of the implementing rules and regulations (I-

COMPASIVO) R-R) of the controversial Maharlika Investment Fund.

The President wanted to study carefully the I-R-R to

ensure the purpose of the fund will be realized for the

country's development through transparency and

accountability. The Maharlika's investment activities may

begin in the first quarter of 2024 and will pursue

infrastructure and structural developments without

getting more loans.
