A minimum of 80 graduate credit hours beyond the baccalaureate degree is required to earn a doctoral
degree--a minimum of 35 course hours and 45 research hours. Graduate credit may be obtained for FABENG
5000+ courses (taken as a Graduate Student), and 4000 or higher outside of FABENG.

Department Requirements: In addition to FABENG 7210, a minimum of 2 additional FABENG 5000+

courses are required. A minimum of 3 semesters of FABENG 7890 is required for students pursuing a Ph.D.
directly; and a minimum of 5 semesters of FABENG 7890 is required if earning a MS and Ph.D. in FABE.
These courses count toward the overall credit hours needed.
