Los Santos is located northeast of the Azuero Peninsula, in
the so-called Tierra Llana of the province of Los Santos.

This province has 95 540 inhabitants, and its capital

Las Tablas is the most populated locality of this
province.

Currently, Los Santos is considered one of the most

Hispanic areas of Panama with 70-74% of its
population of Caucasian/mestizo origin.

The main economic activities that are developed in the
municipality are part of the primary sector, which are the
mainstay of the development of Los Santos.
