Subject: Request for Skills Training Session for Persons Deprived of Liberty
Dear Sir/Madam,
Good day, sir/ma’am! We are writing to respectfully request a skills training session to be
conducted by the City of Imus Cooperative, Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development
Office. This training is intended for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) under our care,
with the aim of providing them with skills and knowledge that can serve as a viable
source of income upon their release from jail.
We propose conducting this skills training session during the upcoming National
Correctional Consciousness Week, specifically targeting the 2nd week of October [specify
exact dates if known]. This initiative aligns well with the objectives of the week-long
event and underscores our commitment to correctional rehabilitation.
We have carefully selected potential skills training options that are both practical and
feasible for PDLs to learn within the designated timeframe. The preferred training topics
include:
These skills not only offer potential income opportunities but also foster creativity and
entrepreneurship among participants.
We kindly request your assistance in organizing and facilitating this training session.
Specifically, we would appreciate your support in providing the necessary materials,
resources, and instructors to conduct the chosen training program effectively.
We firmly believe that investing in the development of vocational skills can lead to
positive outcomes, reducing recidivism rates and promoting a safer and more inclusive
community.
Thank you for considering this request. We look forward to your favorable response and
to the opportunity to collaborate in support of the holistic rehabilitation of PDLs.
Warm regards,
DARWIN I MOTILLA
Jail Chief Inspector
City Jail Warden
