2 Ways to Use Microsoft Azure’s AI Voice Generator For Free _ by Neo Liu _ Medium
Member-only story
Microsoft recently terminated its online free trial for Azure Text to Speech,
which is an AI-powered voice generator and considered as one of the most
handy and powerful text-to-speech tool.
In this article, I have summarised 2 alternative ways for you to give Azure’s
Text to Speech a free try before purchasing a subscription plan.
Microsoft’s Edge browser has built-in voice generator support, and you can
easily find it inside settings menu on top right button.
To use it with your own text. You will need to create your own .txt file and
open it using Edge or you can simply drag your .txt file into it, and repeat
the same process.
If you don’t like the default voice, you can also set your preferred voice
generator via the Voice Options.
Too use Clipchamp, you will need to first create an account on their website.
After account creation, you need to log in and create a video project.
After you successfully created a video project, you can access the voice
generator via the steps shown in the below screenshot.
After following the steps, you will see the voice generator dialog like below,
and you are now free to use it.
Wrapping-up
In this article, we explored the integration of Microsoft Azure Text to Speech
with Edge and Clipchamp to create an cost-effective and user-friendly
solution for text to speech conversion. I hope this guide empowers you to
unlock new possibilities in content creation.
