RESOLUTION NO. 23, S. 2024

A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING SIR CHRISTIAN LAWRENCE

“CHRENCE” GO, 50 UNITS SOLAR-POWERED STREETLIGHTS TO BE INSTALLED IN
PUROK PAGSABANGAN, PUROK MASIPIT, PUROK MAGAMAY, PUROK DUNGAN
AND PUROK BAYONG OF BARANGAY CENTRAL, TARRAGONA, DAVAO ORIENTAL.

WHEREAS, the residents of Barangay Central, Tarragona, Davao Oriental are currently facing
challenges with regards to inadequate lighting particularly in Purok Pagsabangan, Purok Masipit,
Purok Magamay, Purok Dungan and Purok Bayong, posing safety and security concerns for the
community;

WHEREAS, the installation of solar-powered street lights in these areas will significantly enhance
safety measures, promote a sense of security, and improve the overall well-being of our barangay
residents;

WHEREAS, there is a need for financial assistance to procure solar lights and facilitate their
installation in the aforementioned areas;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Local Government Unit of Central, Tarragona, Davao Oriental do not
have the financial capacity to address the aforementioned concern;

WHEREAS, Sir Christian Lawrence “Chrence” Go has been notable and instrumental in providing
aid to barangays for various development projects and initiatives;

NOW THEREFORE, upon motion of Brgy. Kagawad Roel T. Gullem, duly seconded by all the
members of the Sangguniang Barangay, be it;

RESOLVES as it is hereby RESOLVED, that the good Sir Christian Lawrence “Chrence” Go is
earnestly requested 50 units of solar-powered streetlights to be installed in Purok Pagsabangan, Purok
Masipit, Purok Magamay, Purok Dungan and Purok Bayong Of Barangay Central, Tarragona, Davao
Oriental.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that a copy of this resolution be furnished to the office of Sir Christian
Lawrence “Chrence” Go for his consideration and necessary action.
