Socio Bee is a business plan competition designed to empower social entrepreneurs. We
provide a platform for passionate individuals to ideate and develop innovative solutions for the
betterment of society. This year's edition promises to be bigger and better than ever!

To ensure a smooth transition, kindly complete the following mandatory

registration process before proceeding to the details of the subsequent
on-campus round. Participation in further rounds requires all participants to
register in advance.

Here's a breakdown of the competition guidelines categorized for your convenience:

Round 2 Guidelines: Pitching By Prodigies

No. of Teams : 12
Presentation Format:
● Each team will be allotted 8 minutes (followed by a Q&A session by the judges).
● A warning bell will sound at the 6-minute mark. Exceeding the allotted time will result in
negative marking.
● A maximum of 5 slides is allowed for the presentation excluding the cover page and
thank you slide.
● Props and product samples can add a memorable touch to your pitch and help your
ideas come alive.
● Evaluation Criteria: Creativity, impact, feasibility, problem-solution connection, and
overall presentation style.

Round 3 Guidelines: The Final Showdown

Presentation Format:

Get ready to champion your business model in the electrifying Round 2: The Collaborative
Challenge! This unmoderated discussion round will test your team's ability to think on their feet
and collaboratively advocate for your innovative solution.
Guiding Principles for a Productive Discussion:

● One Representative Per Team: Each team will select a single champion to represent
them in the discussion arena.
● The Art of the Pitch: This champion will have the opportunity to deliver a compelling
opening statement (1 minute) highlighting the strengths and impact of your business
model. Let your passion and knowledge shine through as you convince the panel why
yours is the most impactful solution.
● Open Forum (10 Minutes): Following the opening statements, unleash the power of
collaboration! The floor will be open for an unmoderated discussion where all
participants can engage in a dynamic exchange of ideas. Seize the opportunity to build
upon one another's points, address concerns, and showcase your ability to think critically
within a team environment.
● The Final Stand (1 Minute): After the open forum concludes, each team will be granted a
final 1-minute closing statement (delivered by their representative in the same
chronological order).

● Reporting Time: 10:30 AM IST (Participants must check in by this time)
● Venue: Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC)
● Nearest Metro Station: Viswavidyalaya (Yellow Line), Exit Gate No. 4
● Entry/Exit Point: Gate No. 4 (SRCC)
● College ID: Mandatory to carry and produce upon request.
Security:
● Participants with disabilities: Please inform organizers in advance for assistance.
● Prohibited items: Alcohol, tobacco, drugs, weapons, cigarettes (including e-cigarettes).
● Waste disposal: Use designated bins and maintain cleanliness.
● Lost and found: National Service Scheme (NSS), SRCC is not responsible for personal
belongings.
● Disciplinary action: Organizers reserve the right to take action against any form of
unethical or inappropriate behavior as deemed fit by them.
