WAML Bridges: Responsible for the Analysis and design of Abutments for a
railway bridge as per Eurocode. This includes optioneering of the abutment for
SKILLS stability checks. An existing abutment has been optioneered and designed to
suit the new deck to be replaced. The span of the bridge is 10.89m.
MHS FB - CAT II: Responsible for the analysis and design checks for the Market
Structural Design Harborough Station Footbridge as a part of CAT II Check. The bridge is a 15m
single span deck supported on trestle columns. This Footbridge can be
Structural Steel Design accessed by lift and staircase for both ends.

Reinforced Concrete Design Mabey Bridges: As a part of the team responsible for the design of 22m span
composite deck bridge, I was responsible for the preparation of calculation
Building Design sheets for Transverse beam local effects and also for Fatigue Assessment of the
Bridge Deck.

Rapid Phase-2: Responsible for the Analysis and design of 42m high Ground
& Underground)

Multi D Cordination
Cross Rail Anglia - KO1: KO1 is part of Cross Rail Anglia Project of Rail Design
Team Lead Practice. There are 13 stations with 59 platforms all together with 16 members
working on the project. The scope of work includes Stepping and Gauging of
the existing Copers on the platform edge. A new rolling stock (Class 345/BXR
14) is proposed in place of the existing one (Class 315) for which all the platforms
are to be assessed and the copers are to be adjusted accordingly based on the
analysis. I was responsible for the Delivery of Forest Gate Station and was
LANGUAGES responsible for the quality of Drawings as the Lead Checker for remaining
stations. The major challenges in the project are the tight deadlines for project
deliverables and the Multi-D coordination for the proposed works. The copers
English are to be moved as per the proposed stepping and gauging works and the
platform surface is to be regraded to suit the profile as per the requirements.

Riyadh Metro Elevated Stations: Riyadh Metro is a design and build contract
Hindi with 11 Elevated stations. I was responsible for the analysis and design of Steel
Enclosures namely, Concourse, Chillers and Platform Enclosures 8 typical
Kannada stations and 2 other stations. The enclosures are of size 25m x 38m which is
supported on the balanced cantilever concourse slab. The platform enclosure
sits on the platform viaduct. The analysis and design is carried out using Staad
Pro software and the drafting was done using Rivet. I was also responsible for
design of baseplates, connection designs, Inputs to CAD for Drafting, review of
HOBBIES structural and Multi-Disciplinary drawings, review of shop drawings and basic
checks of design from the software. The scope also includes multi-disciplinary
coordination with Arch and MEP teams. I was also involved in a part of the
preliminary design and designed Cantilever RC slab and foundation.
Gardening, Travelling
Birmingham New Street Station: Responsible for analysis and design of Steel
and RC members of the BNS station using BS codes. Assessment of the existing
structure for various proposed loading conditions and room layouts.
Assessment of the existing masonry for proposed openings as per the modified
PERSONAL layout. I was also responsible for CAT II checks. My scope also includes
D E TA I L S preparation of cost estimates for the proposed work, analysis & design of
Structural Elements, Input to draughtsman for CAD, review of drawings, bar
bending schedules, coordination with UK teams for CAT 1, CAT II checks and
preparation of report.

29-09-1987 BNS - Attenuation Tank Re-Design: BNS station consists of an Attenuation tank
to capacitate the storm water. It consists of raft slab with side walls and an
independent roof slab resting on contiguous pile wall. I was responsible for

Indian analysis was carried out using Lusas software. I was also responsible for the
CAD input, drawing preparation and report preparation.

SCL Jacking Frames – Hungham Station: I was responsible for the design and
Analysis of temporary steel frames using BS codes. This includes preparation of
Spreadsheets for the design of steel beams and connection design. Also was
responsible for the preparation of drawings.

East West Rail – Phase 1: Tubbslane Footbridge consists of a 20m deck with
access from both stair cases and multi-level ramps at both ends. I was
responsible for the analysis and detailed design of footbridge using Eurocodes
and Network Rail Standards. I was involved in the preparation of Form-I, Form –II
and Form-VI. Responsible for arrangement, erection sequence, detailed design
and preparation of drawings of the footbridge, ramps and staircases (bespoke
design of multi-level steel ramps using tubular sections) to Network Rail
Standards & Eurocode Design Standards.

Norton Bridge 5A: Category II Check of Norton Bridge 5A. Involved in the design
of Wing Walls and corresponding Pile Foundation, coordination with UK team
and making/informing about the necessary changes required in the
calculations.
