“Supporting Children” Course (SCC)

Venture will codevelop a course for adults in China who support young people; targeting
parents, anyone who works in education from classroom to administration, and any other
professions where adults are in frequent contact with children.

Key Members of the Venture Team:

Zhubei: Trained in RIE and Positive Discipline, Zhubei has worked with parents across
China for over 10 years including delivering online sessions for 1000s of parents. She is
chair of Educating Girls of Rural China in Beijing, judge for the China School Awards and a
loving parent of a four year old girl.

Sabrina: Senior Trainer of the American Positive discipline association, Sabrina has
trained more than 1000 trainers and worked directly with the founder of Positive discipline,
Jane Nelson. She has a PhD in psychology and delivers workshops to hundreds of
Chinese parents a year both online and offline.

Julian: Julian has worked in K12 education in China for over 17 years including three
years as an IELTS examiner interviewing over 3000 young people across the country. He
is the chair of the British Chamber of Commerce in China’s Education Forum, mentor for
Durham University, and regular speaker on education, entrepreneurship and employability.
