Establishment of Green Area and Children Playground in Jubail District - Fallujah

General Obligations Included:

1- All required works in the project, materials are subjected to the specifications of the Iraqi Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities, and Public Works. The measurements of all quantities of the implemented works will be calculated
based on the actual findings and dimensions according to the Iraqi engineering specifications.
2- All used materials, must be new and subjected to the necessary laboratory tests both inside and outside the country as required. Mercy Corps engineers have the right to re-test any materials in the project in a different laboratory for some
cases. The selection of the laboratory to test the materials will be decided by Mercy Corps engineers, and the contractor has no right to object or select another laboratory.
3- The contractor is required to obtain an official approval by the supervisory committee (Fallujah municipality engineers) and MC engineers before supplying any required materials, devices, systems...etc. or starting the implementation of any
new items; including the provision of samples, mockup, catalogues for testing/inspection required to obtain this official approval.
4- The contractor is responsible for the safety of all activities in the site including the provision of all occupational safety requirements for all employees and workers (PPE).
5- The contractor cannot demand all the quantities mentioned in the BOQ, if the final measurement will show less quantities.
6- The contractor is required to provide and Install a prefabricated office of two rooms at least including kitchen and toilet for the supervisory committee of the project with all required furniture, electrical, mechanical and communications
services. Also, it is required to provide only a one means of transport with its driver for the following-up of the project implementation by the committee.
7- If there is any difference found in the BoQ between the English description and the Arabic translation of the item, the English description should be adopted.
8- The contractor is responsible for repairing and maintaining for any damage that occurs in roads or in the networks of the communications, water, sewage or postal service when installing the electrical materials which mentioned in the BOQ
during the implemention of the project.
9- The maintenance works of the defect liability period (12 months) includes all civil and electrical works (Detailes in the attached SoW).

compacting all project area (after removing the existing project soil) using heavy construction
equipment - single drum sheep feet and vibratory road roller compactor, the natural ground
compaction of the project should not be less than 90% of MDD to comply with the modified
proctor test. In addtion, cleaning and washing all project parts after completing the
construction works and project activities. All needed works to complete project activities will
be included within the price and all requirements to complete the job according to supervision
committee instructions.

2 Backfilling works with suitable soil for planting:
Supply materials, tools, labor, and equipment for backfilling works using suitable soil (Loamy-
Compost soil) for planting, to the required level in the designated area as per the required
depth mentioned in the attached drawings with an average of 45 cm. The work shall include m3
adding necessary plant fertilizers to the soil. The work must be conducted according to
specifications, technical drawings, with accurate surveying works and according to the
instructions of the supervision committee.
3 Backfilling works with subbase:
Supply materials, labor, equipment, and all other requirements for backfilling using granular
material (sub-base type B) by spreading three layers, each layer does not exceed 25 cm with
a minimum 95% compaction ratio to comply with the modified proctor method, to the required
level in the specified designated area (under the walkways, playground, and the structures) m3
as per the attached drawings. The work includes compacting the natural ground, and
accurate surveying works and will be conducted according to specifications, technical
drawings, and instructions of the supervision committee.

4 Reinforced concrete for the footing of the fence, steps, and columns of the main gates:
Supply materials, labour, equipment, and all other requirements for the casting of reinforced concrete (1:2:4) for the
following:
1. Strip foundation of the site fence: 40 cm width x 30 cm depth along the boundary of the fence, using SR cement
reinforced concrete (C26) as shown in the attached drawings. The price includes the installation of base plate 10 mm
thickness every 3 meters at the places of the steel poles of the fence according to the instructions of the supervisor
engineer. The price includes also excavation for the foundation (For a depth of 50 cm) and providing and laying 20 cm
of subbase layer and 10 CM layer of crushed stone before casting of the concrete, and the price includes using the
chamfer at the top edge for the two sides of the casting.
2. Bases of the columns of the gates: 120 cm width x 120 cm length x 40 cm depth, using SR cement reinforced
concrete (C25) as shown in the attached drawings of the layers under the base and reinforcment.
3. Concrete steps: Dimensions as per the attached drawings, using SR cement reinforced concrete (C25).
4. Columns of the main gates: 40 x 40 cm and height of 250 cm. using reinforced concrete (C25).
The price includes steel reinforcement as shown in the attached drawing and formwork.
The Implementing Partner/contractor will take into consideration the following:
A - Obtaining a successful laboratory test on all the materials.
B - Laying a thick agricultural nylon sheet below and at the sides of the foundation.
C - The Implementing Partner will use SR cement produced in Iraq (same specifications as Portland Cement) and best
quality aggregates, mixed with fresh and clear water.
D - The concrete must be a fair face and will be cast using clean wooden molds.
E - using vibrators/mechanical mixing at all stages of casting.
F - good and continuous water spraying (curing) after casting.
G - All metal and steel will be painted with three (3) layers of very good quality anti-rust paint produced in Iraq.
H - Painting of the concrete with two (2) prime coats of very good quality paint produced in Iraq.
All works will be conducted according to the specifications, technical diagrams, and instructions of the supervising
engineer.

6 Perimeter steel fence: ‫السياج الحديدي المحيطي‬:

Supply materials, labour, equipment, and all other requirements to install a steel bars fence,
the height is180 cm (as described in the attached SOW and drawings). The fence elements
will be made by welding steel bars (1-inch diameter) distributed at 10 cm spacing between
each bar, to be connected horizontally by 2 horizontal square steel rails 3 x3 inch, 4 mm
thickness. Square steel post 3 x 3 inches 190 cm tall, 4MM thickness, topped by a post cap,
will be placed every 3 meters and fixed to the concrete footing of the fence by steel base
plate (25*25 cm) 10 mm thickness and anchor bolts 18mm diameter. A decorative spear cap
will be installed at the upper end of the vertical steel poles and square tube. The works
include two (2) layers of anti-rust coating of all bars and three (3) layers of high-quality dark
green oil paint. In addition, the work shall include connecting the vertical steel poles to the
steel plate of the fence and concrete strip foundation. The price includes all required works to
complete the installation of the fence according to the standard specifications and the
instructions of the supervision committee.

appropriate colors, as directed by the supervision committee.The concrete base will be higher
than the ground level by 15 cm. All works must be conducted according to the specifications,
technical drwings, and the supervision committee instructions.

9 Tartan Layer: ‫طبقة التارتان‬

Supply materials, labour, equipment, and all other requirements to install a coated, all-seasons synthetic
'Tartan' the durable type, high-quality /reputable brand. Flat surface layer to cover the concrete base of the
playground according to drawings and supervisor engineer instructions.
The work must include:
A) Tartan type is rubber roll with thickness not less than 8 mm type SBR rubber carpet PU system
B) Temperature resistance is more than 70c degrees with UV resistance
C) Fixing the tartan rolls using special glue (suitable to the tartan type) to guarantee the best installation.
D) Glue quantity must not be less than 1.5 kg/m2 and to be spread by a special tool.
E) Casting special acrylic 8 layers (each 4 layers/1 mm). With a suitable dye layer with a thickness of (1) mm
so that the total thickness of the tartan and the additional layers becomes no less than (12) mm
F) The contractor must provide at least TWO samples with catalogs and an implementation plan
describing the equipment and materials that will be used in the work and the supervisor engineer will
m2
choose and certify each item and plan before starting the works.
G) The joints between the layers of tartan will be filled with a suitable material, ensuring that the outer surface
is as a single piece, as well as no water leakage between or under the layers through the joints.
H) The final layout of the tartan layer should contain at least four (4) bright acrylic colors (not painting)
according to the drawings and supervising engineer instructions.

100 cm x 120 cm depth. The price includes the formwork and the reinforcement, the
reinforcement must be not less than 120 kg/m3.
B - Installation of steel poles with a diameter no less than 5 inches and a thickness no less
than eight (8) mm, and a total length no less than 6 m of which 5 m will be above the concrete
base. The steel poles fixed with the base by a base plate and welding with the reinforcement
bars of the concrete. Also, eight 8 pieces of steel reinforcement of 8 mm diameter should be
placed as two layers in the concrete base and fixed by welding with the steel poles;

2. Casting "L shape column" from the base every one-meter C/C, the vertical part dimensions
are 30 x 30 cm and 45 cm height, and the same dimensions for the horizontal part
(cantilever). The price includes the formwork and the use of reinforcement steel bars 6Φ12

on its perimeter, and the level of the upper surface of the base is at the level of the adjacent
ground. The price includes the formworks and steel reinforcement Φ12 @ 20 cm two

2. The 2nd circular basin, with a diameter of 7 meters, is built of bricks with a thickness of 24

consists of six steel poles (4 x 4 inch, 4mm thickness), to be connected horizontally from the
top of poles with the same section. From the perimeter horizontal top, eight (8) steel tubes
3x3 inch to be connected to the center of canopy and extended 50 cm away to provide extra
shade, adding one (1) inch tubes horizontally and four (4) pipes 3 x 3 inch, 3mm thickness at
the perimeter to form a hexagonal cone roof shape, so that the height of the center of cone
from all sides is 80 cm. The pitched roof of the canopy is covered with clay red roof tiles
without any openings (to avoid water leakage). The price includes two (2) horizontal tubes
2x2 inch at the perimeter, the first one is 30 cm from the ground level, while the second one

American-type grass or the lacally named "Dam Al-Ghazal". The works include:
A - Soil leveling to ensure good water flow during the irrigation process.
B – Supplying and planting of American-type grass, or Dam Al-Ghazal, according to the local
name. The prepared grass must be in the form of lawn pieces, dimensions of the piece
should not be less than 30 x 30 cm, and at least two pieces are placed per 1 square meter in M2
all areas. The lawn pieces must be intact, non-disintegrating, free from plant pests, healthy
green color and do not contain any wilting, otherwise, grass pieces will be excluded.
C- Supply suitable fertilizer during or after planting, according to the advice of the agricultural
specialist.
21 Planting Trees
Supply materials, labour, equipment and all other requirements to carry out tree planting
works according to the below list of trees :
The work will include:
A - Diging holes to plant trees with appropriate dimensions according to the size of the tree
and according to the approved agricultural specifications.
B- Planting trees in the prepared holes according to the layout provided by the superviser
engineer. Supplied trees must be free from any agricultural defects, wilting, or pests
(otherwise, the saplings will be rejected). Samples for the trees should be submitted for
approval in terms of the required size and quality, before starting the planting process.
Leveling works should be conducted within the planting area to ensure smooth irrigation
process (to be connected later to the drip irrigation network).
C- Add appropriate fertilizers to the trees, according to the type of tree, and in appropriate
quantities during or after the planting process according to the agriculture specialist advice.

22 Children playground equipment and toys
Supply materials, labour, equipment, and all other requirements to provide and install high
quality, safe, and certified children's playground equipment according to the specifications,
types, quantities, and conditions stated in Annex 4. The price includes supplying,
transportation, and delivery of the playground equipment to the worksite, along with their
complete installation. The works will include casting concrete bases to ensure the stability of
the games and other equipment. The contractor must submit different catalogues of children's
playground equipment produced by well-reputed brands according to the specifications
mentioned in Annex 4 before purchasing, for review and selection, and the supervision
committee has the right to accept/reject or ask for additional catalogues. All equipment will be L.S
thoroughly tested after installation. Equipment should come with instructions panels for users
on how to use the equipment safely, and has a warranty of at least two years.
The contractor must provide catalogues of proposed playground equipment within 2-3 weeks
from signing the contract to ensure that the equipment will arrive on time. All the required
works to complete the installation will be included within the price and must be done
according to the supervision committee instructions.
23 Irrigation Network with tanks and sunshade
Supply materials, labour, equipment, and all other requirements to install and connect a
mixed watering system: spray (for grass) and drip (for plants). The system will consist of 2
inch PVC water pipe (black color), 20 water spray nozzles, and 70 drip nozzles as per
technical specification with all connections required with the water source. The price shall
include the installation and connection of 2 water pumps of 3 Hp capacity, pipe network with
water pumps, as well as casting concrete base of 21 Mpa sulphate resistance reinforced
concrete of 20 cm thick using BRC reinforcement of 6 mm thick. The works will include the
installation of three (3) water tanks (Base dimension 5 x 1.8 m), each is 1000 L capacity, and L.S
locations to be specified by the supervision committee. The works include the installation of a
sunshade roof (2.5 height x 5 x2 m), supported by steel square section columns (3 x 3
inches), steel rectangle sections for beams (3 x 1.5 inches), corrugated sheet for the roof (0.8
mm thick ) and steel sheet cut by CNC for the fence. The work includes painting with three (3)
layers of high-quality oil-based paint, connections with the electrical board, and all electrical
connections, with all the works required to complete the job according to the supervision
committee instructions.
24 Rain water drain pipe for the fountain area:
Supply materials and labour to install a horizontal PVC pipe of 4 inches, resistant to high
pressure, with all its fittings such as elbow, T, or Y connections, to complete all plumbing
requirements to install the pipe under the floor around the fountain area and connect it to the
exterior pipe (out of the park) to drain any excess water. This will include excavation, covering M.L
the pipe with 10cm sand layer, casting concrete 1:3:6, and backfilling to the septic tank. All
works must be completed according to the specifications and instructions of the supervision

36 Cement Plastering and Rendering
Supply materials, tools and manpower to plaster the external walls with cement sand mortar
(1:3) 20 mm thick using aluminum straight edges, plastering in two coats over and rendering
with white cement finishing coat, the work includes spreading one layer of cement splash
dash, putting a layer of metal mesh on the area under the cement plastering which should be M2
installed at the linking area (If needed) with decoration works in the plastering and according
to the attached drawings, and all the required works to complete the work.
37 Gypsum Plastering
Supply materials, tools and manpower for gypsum plastering of the internal walls using two
layers (minimum 20mm thick) of brown and white gypsum, the price includes one layer of
cement splash dash under gypsum plastering with cement-sand mortar, putting a layer of M2
metal mesh on the area under the gypsum plastering which should be installed between the
linking area (If needed) and all the required works to complete the work.
38 Plastic Painting for Internal Walls:
Supply materials, tools and manpower to paint the interior walls and ceilings with 3 layers of
plastic painting (The submitted brand must be compliant to international standards and
approved by the supervisiory committee ). The job includes cleaning the walls, removing the M2
dirt and dust. All needed works to complete the job, shall be included within the price.
39 Plastic painting For External Walls:
Supply of materials, tools and manpower to paint the exterior walls with three layers of plastic
(silicon water proof) paint (The submitted brand must be compliant to international standards
and approved by the supervisiory committee ). The job includes repairing any cracks in the M2
walls, cleaning the walls, removing the dirt and dust. All needed works to complete the job,
shall be included within the price.
40 Ceramic Tiles for The Walls:
Supply and install ceramic tiles (25X40X1cm) for the sanitary unit and kitchen walls of height
3 m, the water absorption shall be 10 to 15%, the price includes all the materials needed to M2
install, filling with white cement and polishing with all the required works to complete the Job.
41 Ceramic Tiles for the floors
Supply and install ceramic tiles anti slip for the sanitation unit and kitchen floors, the size
(30X30X0.8 cm) (as sample approved by the supervision committee) using high-quality type.
The work includes spearding solution of water and bonding agent ,the water absorption shall M2
be 0.5 to 0.9% , the price include the all the material needed to install , filling with white
cement and polishing the tiles with all the required works complete the job
42 Terrazzo (Mosaic) Tles for The Floors
Supply, install and finish the floors of the building using Mosaic tiles of (40X40) cm
dimensions best quality using cement sand mortar (1:3), the tiles final faces should be flat
and free from any ripples, the price includes steps of polishing and glazing the mosaic tiles in
site and not limited to fill the joints with white cement, cleaning the concrete floors before
finishing the floor using the tiles. Taking into consideration the joints, which must not exceed
the width of 1.5 cm for each 8 to 12 M.L and it is subsequently filled with Sikaflex construction M2
AP with back up rod for joints tiles. The contractor must submit samples to the Engineering
Committee for the approval of one of the samples, which must be subjected to the full
physical and chemical laboratory tests and according to the Iraqi standard specifications, with
all the required works to complete the job.
43 Roofing Using Concrete Tiles
Supply materials, tools and manpower for roofing works according to the technical
specifications, the work includes the following:
A: Cleaning the roof well using air compressor and coating all the roof with two layers of liquid
bitumen primer for waterproofing (flancote).
B: Spreading opposite layers of tar (30/20) grade and laying a good quality of SBS modified
bitumen waterproofing membrane between them (The submitted brand must be compliant to
international standards and approved by the supervisory committee) of 3mm thick, the tar
layers and bitumen waterproofing membranes level must be raised 20 cm height around
water baffles for the building and overlapping between the bitumen waterproofing membrane
pieces not less than 15 cm for both directions

C: Spreading high density and compressed corks layer of 5 cm thickness and laying one
layer of thick agricultural nylon (polyphone sheets 1 mm)
D: Spreading clean river sand layer with 8 cm thickness at the lowest area and increase the
thickness according to the required slope
E: Finishing with concrete tiles of (80x80x4) cm thickness, taking into consideration the slope
towards water drainage.
F: Casting the edges by plain concrete of 21 Mpa compressive strength
G: Filling the joints with bitumen mastic with cautery with all required works to complete the
job.
44 Steel Door:
Supply and install a double-face steel door D3 with dimensions of (2.25mx1m). The partitions
inside the door included every 20cm by steel square hollow section (4cmX4cmx2mm) and
covered with steel plate 1.5 mm thickness on both sides with the use of geometric engravings
on the steel plates designed by CNC machines using steel plate 2 mm thick for the doors
mentioned in attached drawings. The frame shall be from a steel C section of 3 inches and 3
mm thickness and a steel angle section of 1 inch and 2 mm thickness (double steel frame).
The works including all necessary fixings hinges, door handles, locks with key (The submitted Ea.
brand must be compliant with international standards and approved by the supervisory
committee), hands locks and fixing a stopper on the floor or wall, glazing using a stained
glass of 4 mm thick, insulation foam, accessories, mastic, hardware and painting with anti-
rust paint and 3 layers of oil paints, and all installation accessories, as per attached drawings,
and all the required works to complete the job.
45 PVC Door:
Supply and install PVC door with frame (D4) of 2 x 0.9 m dimensions (the door color should
be dark brown), It is installed in the walls by a frame of steel C Section 3 inch dimension,
3mm thick and painting with three layers of oil based paints in addition to anti rust primer.
The PVC sections and panel lambrins should be wide section and (The submitted brand must Ea.
be compliant to international standards and approved by the supervisory committee) as per
the attached drawings with all accessories and installation of heavy duty locks, hinges and
handles , with all the required works and accessories to complete the installation.
46 Aluminum Window
Supply and install aluminum window with its' frame and installing by a frame of steel C section
of 3 inch dimension, 3mm thick and painting with three layers of oil based paints in addition to
anti rust primer. Price of the work shall include use the heavy thickness of 1.2mm and 7.5 cm
width aluminum sections (The submitted brand must be compliant to international standards
and approved by the supervisiory committee ) - first class as per the drawings, installation of
heavy duty locks and handles, installation of glass 4 mm thick, anti-insect netting mesh, steel
guard frame (Steel Burglar frame) as per attached designs (The contractor should be
complied with all details and design of steel guard frame referred to in the attached drawings)
with painting the steel frames and guard frame with 3 layer of oil based paints in addition to
anti rust prime coat all the required works and accessories to complete the job are included in
the price. The doors dimensions as followings:

47 Steel Ladder:
Supply and install steel Ladder of 70 cm width using square hollow section pipe 3" and 3 mm

paints and all the required works to complete the job.
48 Passageway Works
Supply materials, tools and manpower to cast the new passageway around the building of 1.5
m width according to the follow items and attached drawings:
A Spreading thick agricultural nylon layer (polythene sheets 1mm thick) before casting
M.l
concrete.
B Casting Sulphate resistant plain concrete of 20 cm thickness and 25 cm width for
passageway foundation with compressive strength 21 MPa, (Slump 5”) ,with all the required M3
works to complete the Job.
C Building the passageway walls using hollow concrete block of 40x20x20 cm dimensions and
cement – sand (1:3) with height 0.60 m and 20 cm width, the work includes smooth plastering
for the external and internal wall with cement-sand (1:3) and painting the internal wall with tar M3
class II or III.
D Spreading well compacted river sand layer with a thickness not more than 40 cm for each
layer under passageways floor. River sand layers shall be watered, leveled and compacted M3
well with required treatment.
E Casting sulphate resistant plain concrete for passageway floor with compressive strength 21
MPa, (Slump 5”) and 10 cm thickness, the work includes expansion joints every 20m2, filling

50 Installation and Connection of PVC pipes:

excavations to any required depth, spreading two layer of sub-base layer “Class B” shall be

52 Floor Drain:
Supply and install 4” PVC floor gully trap of 100mm diameter. Price to include (15*15) double

directions of the Engineering Committee . All needed work to complete the job will be
included in the price.
53 Roof Drainpipes:
Supply, install, and test PVC pipe of 110 mm diameter and 10 bar pressure properly fixed
with brackets to the wall and the slab, complete with all fittings and accessories for draining
rainwater from the roof. The work includes all the required hanging accessories, fittings and
vent caps and all the required works to complete the Job.
54 Eastern style toilet:
Supply and install eastern ceramic toilet (The submitted brand must be compliant with
international standards and approved by the supervisory committee) of (50 * 60) cm
dimension, White, complete with flush tank, fitting, stop, valve side tap, and with water toilet
mixer (hot & cool) with handheld showers, all sewage and potable water pipes to connect it
with networks, installing and connecting gully trap of 100mm diameter, toilet brush, holder,
and all the required works to complete the Job.
55 Ceramic wash basin:
Supply, install, connect, and test white ceramic wash basin with a stand (The submitted brand
must be compliant with the international standards and approved by the supervisory
committee), size (60 X 50) cm complete with all fittings, valves, gully-trap, all sewage and
potable water pipes to connecting it with networks. The price includes a first-class water mixer
with all connections and installation accessories, stainless steel toilet accessories (glass
shelf, soap basket, wall toilet paper holder, single towel bar, a mirror of 35x50 cm
dimensions, and any other necessary parts with all the required works to complete the job.
56 Shower Tower System Set With Hand Shower:
Supply and install shower tower system set with hand shower of Turkish origin with fitting,
valves, all sewage and potable water pipes(cool and hot) to connect it with networks, with all
the required works to complete the Job.
57 Water tank:
Supply and install galvanized steel gage 16 water tank of 1000 Lit. capacity. Price to include
concrete stand and, supported by steel base made with 50mm (2") angle shape, float ball
valve, valves, fittings, vents, check valves, connecting the tanks with the water distribution
network of the building and main water source, and all necessary works to complete job.
58 PPR pipes:
Supply materials, tools, and manpower to install, connect, and test (PPR) pipes (The
submitted brand must be compliant with international standards and approved by the
supervisory committee) for the distribution water network (cold and hot water pipes) with
isolated hot water pipes by using arm flex and thermal tape and concrete 10cm around the
pipes, and the pipes from and to the water heater and the pipe which connects the water
network of the building and the source of the main water network. The price should include all
connection and installation accessories and fittings such as 90 elbow, tees, check valves,
valves...etc. The work includes installing the pipe in walls, roofs, and floors, testing the water
pipes network for the building as per technical specifications with all the required works to
complete the Job. As shown below:

59 Galvanized iron water pipes
Supply, install and test galvanized water pipes "class A" SCH40 of 1-inch diameter to connect
and transfer water from and to water tanks which should be installed on the building roof. The
price includes all fittings and accessories such as 90 elbow, tees, check valves, valves...etc.
The work includes installing the pipe in walls, roofs, floors, excavation, backfilling, painting the
pipes using 3 layers of anti-rust then isolating all hot water pipes by using arm flex and
thermal tape and Teflon seal for connections of cold and hot water pipes, and concrete 10cm
around the pipes. All needed work to complete the job will be included in the price.
60 Taps:
Supply and connect chrome water taps 1/2". The price of the work shall include all water
connections, all pipes, and fitting to connect it with the water distribution network and the taps
locations should be determined by the engineering committee inside and outside the building.

61 Stainless Steel Double Bowl Sink:
Supply of materials, tools, and manpower to install and connect stainless steel double bowl
sink (150x60cm). The work includes a chrome mixer for sinks, waste outlet, tailpiece, P-trap
chrome, chrome plated 14mm and all required parts, gully–trap, fittings, and valves, in
addition to aluminum sink cabinet storage (Aluminum Countertop) which consist of an
aluminum frame, a heavy section of 1.3 mm and width, not less than 5.0 cm aluminum
sections and aluminum panel of Turkish origin, each aluminum countertop piece containing 3
doors with aluminum shelves inside. The work includes connecting it with the sewage network
and potable water, all needed work to complete the job will be included in the price.

The items prices below included the following:
1- The works should include the provision, installation, connection, operation and inspection
of all materials in their locations according instructions of the engineering committee, then
testing the electrical network of the building, with all requirements to complete the job.
2- The work shall be according to the technical specifications and the materials shall be first
class and original, not commercial or imitative. The required brand for electrical cables, wires,
electrical PVC conduits to pull the wires in, fittings, galvanized steel electrical boxes for
sockets and electrical switch must be ABB, Schneider, Siemens or equivalent and compliant
with international standards and approved by the supervisiory committee. Lighting fixtures
(ceiling or walls), bulbs, electrical lamp holders, LED projects and flood lights, celling fans,
electrical sockets, metal distribution board box and switches of (ABB, Schneider, Siemens or
equivalent, the submitted brand must be compliant with international standards and approved
by the supervisiory committee. Main and sub distribution boards, MCCB and MCB circuit
backers and MCB Distribution Boards with all their accessories of ABB, Schneider, Siemens

4- The contractor shall submit samples of all materials before providing to be approved or
rejected them by the engineering committee.

clips), galvanized steel rod 5mm (1.2x1.2m) for fixing it with the ceiling by screws "butterfly"

89 Spread Crushed Stone and cast blinding concrete:
Supply materials, tools, and manpower to spread crushed stone or boulder layer of 7 cm with
good compaction and cast 21MPa concrete 10 cm thick for the floor under the ceramic tiles M2
using sulfate-resistant cement. The work includes making expansion joints, and all the
required work to complete the job.
90 Ceramic works for the floors :
Supply and install ceramic tiles anti slip for the sanitation unit floors size (30X30X0.8 cm)
(sample should be approved) using high-quality type, solution of water, and a bonding agent.
The water absorption shall be 0.5 to 0.9%. The price includes all the materials needed to M2
install, fill with white cement, and polish the tiles with all the required work to complete the
work.
91 Roofing using concrete tiles:
Supply and spread two opposite layers of tar, then a water-proof layer (membrane of 3mm
thick) between them, and then spread a corks layer with 5 cm thickness and clean river sand
layer with 10 cm thickness and finishing with concrete tiles of (80x80x4) cm thickness, filling M2
the joints with mastic and giving necessary slope for water drainage and all work
requirements to complete the job.
92 Rainwater drainage system:
Supply, install, and test 4" UPVC SN8, 6 bars rainwater pipes down to rain system (gutter)
with wired mesh above ground level, with all required hanging accessories (Stainless steel M.l
nails), fittings and vent caps and all the required works to complete the job.
93 Steel Doors:
Supply and install a double-face steel door with dimensions of D3 (2.25mx1m). The partitions
inside the door included every 20cm by steel square hollow section (4cmX4cmx2mm) and
covered with steel plate 1.5 mm thickness on both sides with the use of geometric engravings
on the steel plates designed by CNC machines using steel plate 2 mm thick for the doors
mentioned in attached drawings. The frame shall be from a steel C section of 3 inches and 3
mm thickness and a steel angle section of 1 inch and 2 mm thickness ( double steel frame).
The works including all necessary fixings hinges, door handles, locks with key (The submitted Ea.
brand must be compliant with international standards and approved by the supervisory
committee), hands locks and fixing a stopper on the floor or wall, glazing using a stained
glass of 4 mm thick, insulation foam, accessories, mastic, hardware and painting with anti-
rust paint and 3 layers of oil paints, and all installation accessories, as per attached drawings,
and all the required works to complete the job.
94 PVC Door:
Supply and install PVC door with frame (D4) of 2 x 0.9 m dimensions (the door color should
be dark brown). It should be installed in the walls by a frame of steel C Section 3-inch
dimension, 3mm thick, and painted with three layers of oil-based paints in addition to anti-rust
primer. The PVC sections and panels should be wide sections and as per the attached Ea.

excavations to any required depth, spreading two layer of sub-base layer “Class B” shall be
applied in layers of 25 cm thick, watered, leveled and well compacted, with manhole hard
