My Holiday in China

Few years ago, I spent my holiday in China. I went there with my friends. It was an
unforgettable moment for me. On the first day, I was landed at Pudong International Airport
around 7 a.m. Then we went straight to hotel to put all of our luggage and took shower. After
breakfast, our bus came to pick up and sent us to several places. The first place we visit called
The Bund Shanghai. It was a very famous place for tourist. We enjoyed the beautiful river and
building’s view before had our lunch.
On the next day, we visited an International School in Shanghai. The school was very big
and full of high-tech facilities. Me and my friends were so impressed. The third day, we moved
to Hangzhou by bus, and visited a very famous lake there, West Lake. This lake is well known by
the white snake legend.
After two days in this city, we continued our trip to Suzhou. Suzhou was famous for its
silk industry. Our tour guide took us to a shopping center, special for silk product. None of us
bought anything because the products were expensive. The next morning, we went to Beijing by
express train. I was so excited because I never experience with that kind of high-speed train
before, around 300 km/hours! In Beijing, we visited The Great Wall of China, The Palace
Museum, and historical place, Tiananmen.
On the last day, I bought some souvenirs for my family and friends, like perfumes, pens,
and bags. I also ate some unique fruits that I never tasted before. It’s a very fantastic experience
for me and my friends. Finally, I went back to Jambi again after 10 days wonderful trip in China.
I hope one day I can go to other places, like Europe.
 Camping on the mountain

Last holiday, my friends and I went camping on the mountain. We went to Guci,
Tegal. The spot is near from our town. I is about 2 hours to get there. We choose Guci
because it is not too far from settlement.

We prepared everything before going on camping. The boys prepared the tents, the
girls prepared the food, and I checked the accommodations. We brought cooking utensils
and the food from home, clothes, camera, guitar, etc. We went there by a car and a
motorcycle for unwanted condition. We went there in the sunny morning and hoped no
rain during camping.

On the first day, we sat up the tent on the spot near waterfall. The girls made the
fence of the area but the boys took a bath on the river. Then, we cooked the food for the
lunch, had lunch together, tried to fish in the river but we got a sandal.

On the second day, we had some activities. We went on hiking up the mountain,
took some pictures in tea garden, and picked strawberry. The last night of our camping
was so cold, we made a campfire, sang song together and told spooky stories which made
us fear.

We had camping for about three days. On the last day, we packed everything we
bought. we cleaned the area and made sure there was nothing left except our footprint.
We didn’t take anything except took photos, we remembered that we must keep the
nature, friendly with them and they will be friendly with us. We made a memory by
taking photos together in front of a waterfall and then went home happily. We felt very
tired.
