Eye Contact Rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water until irritation subsides.
If irritation persists, get prompt medical attention.
Skin Contact Remove contaminated shoes and clothing, and flush affected
areas(s) with large amounts of water. If skin surface is damaged,
apply a clean dressing and seek medical attention. If skin surface is
not damaged, cleanse affected area(s) thoroughly by washing with
mild soap and water or a waterless hand cleaner. If irritation or
redness develops, see medical attention. Remove contaminated
shoes and clothing and cleanse affected area(s) thoroughly by
washing with mild soap and water or a hand cleaner.
Extinguishing Media In case of fire, use foam, carbon dioxide or dry chemical
extinguishers.
Special Fire-fighting Do not spray water directly on fire; product will float and could
Procedures reignite on the surface of the water. Highly flammable vapors which
are heavier than air may accumulate in low areas and/or spread
along the ground away from handling site. Flashback along vapor
trail may occur.
Decomposition Products Oxides of carbon, nitrogen and other gases are products of
combustion.
under Fire Conditions
Water Spill Use booms to confine spills immediately. Remove from water
surface by skimming or with suitable adsorbents. If allowed by local
authorities and environmental agencies, sinking and/or suitable
dispersants may be used in non-confined waters. Consult an expert
on disposal of recovered material and ensure conformity to local
disposal regulations.
Handling Procedures Keep away from potential sources of ignition. Open container in a
well- ventilated area. Avoid breathing vapors. Keep containers
closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly after handling. “Empty”
containers with retained product residue (liquid or vapor) can be
dangerous. Do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind or
expose containers to heat, flame, sparks, static electricity or other
sources of ignition; they may explode and cause death or injury.
Empty drums should be completely drained, properly bunged and
promptly returned to a drum re-conditioner, or properly disposed off.
Storage Procedures Do not store near potential sources of ignition. Store in well-
ventilated area.
Exposure Controls
Personal Protection
Ventilation Procedures The use of local exhaust ventilation is recommended to control mists
or vapors. Additional ventilation or exhaust may be required to
maintain air concentrations below exposure limits.

SECTION 11: TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Basis for Assessment Information given is based on data on the components and the
toxicology of similar products.
Acute Toxicity
Skin Corrosion/Irritation Low order of toxicity under normal use. However, avoid prolonged or
repeated contact with the product to prevent defatting and dermatitis.
Furthermore, lead in the product can be absorbed through the skin
and accumulate in the body, affecting the blood, nerves, kidney and
the reproductive system.
Serious Eye Damage/Irritation May cause mild eye irritation with stinging and redness of eyes.
Respiratory/Skin Sensitization There was no evidence of skin sensitization when the product was
applied to human skin. Based on human experience, breathing of
vapors or mists may cause a temporary burning sensation to nose,
throat, and lungs.
Specific Target Organ Toxicity Gasoline vapor acts as a central nervous system depressant.
Exposure to low concentrations may produce flushing of the face,
staggering gait, slurred speech and mental confusion. In high
concentrations, gasoline vapor may cause unconsciousness, coma
and possibly death resulting from respiratory failure and harmful

effects to the kidneys, pancreas and liver. Gasoline contains
aromatic hydrocarbons which may result in leukemia and other
hematopoietic changes.
Ecotoxicological data have not been determined specifically for this product. Information given is based
on a knowledge of the components and the ecotoxicology of similar products.
Environmental Mobility More volatile component, highly volatile, will partition rapidly to air.
Not expected to partition to sediment and wastewater. Less volatile
component, low solubility and floats is expected to migrate from
water to land. Expected to partition to sediment and wastewater
solids.
Environmental Degradability Data have not been determined specifically for this product, but it is
expected that it will be inherently biodegradable. The more volatile
component is expected to degrade rapidly in air.
Ecotoxicity & Bioaccumulation Data have not been determined specifically for this product, but it is
expected to be harmful to aquatic organisms. May cause long-term
adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Majority of the
components has the potential to bioaccumulate. However,
metabolism or physical properties may reduce the bioconcentration
or limit bioavailabilty.
