5/4-Way Valve DCV5-4+924

for Progressive Systems

The DCV5-4+924 directional control valve (for 24 V

DC current) was built for use in centralized lubrication
systems for grease with multiple lube circuits.
As many as four independent lube circuits can be
supplied with lubricant, controlled and monitored.

• The 5/4-way valve replaces up to four 2/2-way valves

• Less time and effort are required for installation and laying of the lines
• Only one electric plug
• Extremely low energy consumption, no holding current necessary, practically no heat generation
• New capabilities due to little required space

5/4-Way Valve DCV5-4+924
The 5/4-way valve can replace four 2/2-way
valves. It switches an inlet port to one of the
four respective outlet ports. Unneeded outlet
ports are simply closed with a screw plug.
It provides numerous advantages:
• Only one hydraulic inlet port, fed by the
pump. There is no manifold of the kind
found with individual valves.
Less time and effort are required for
installation and laying of the lines.
• Only one electric plug for the control
function.
• The DCV5-4+924 consumes power only
when switching over, i.e. for approx. 2 sec.
After the position switched to is reached
the valve turns itself off automatically. No
power is consumed in the position switched
to, so no heat is generated.

• The DCV5-4+924 is much smaller and
more functional than any other compara-
ble valves and valve combinations available
in the market to date. So the valve is
suitable for installation in cramped con-
ditions as well, thus opening up further
fields of use.
• With its voltage tolerance of ± 25 % the
valve is also suitable for use in the motor
vehicles sector.
In addition to use in conjunction with KFGS…-B…
pump units with CAN-BUS, it is also possible
to operate and control the DCV5-4+924 on
a separate basis. Its small, compact form and
simple installation make it easier to adapt
systems with multiple lube circuits to the
respective conditions and to do so in more
individual fashion.
