SUBJECT- Complaint under Sections 509, 375 and 354A of Indian Penal Code, 1860

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to bring a serious matter to your attention which involved
commission of offences of Rape, Mental and Sexual Harassment by Mr. Varun Madanlal
Pidyar which are grave and serious offences under Indian Penal Code, 1860, with the hope
to receive strict and stringent lawful action against the offender Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar.

This is to inform you that I, Aashka Patel, had met Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar in the year
2012 while being in college and thereafter which Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar and I were
involved in a relationship with each other whereby Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar has time and
again provided false and manipulative conformation that he is willing to marry me and in
lieu of such affirmation I was committed in my relationship with him fully and completely.
In light of such false hope and manipulation, Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar has engaged in
sexual relationship on multiple occasions and despite of inquiring multiple times about the
intention of Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar about our relationship and marriage, he always mis
represented himself to be ok with marrying me and thus only with the malice to engage in
sexual relationship with me, he has breached my trust and committed the offence of rape
upon me.

Further, Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar has on multiple occasions manipulatively deceived me
to come to Bengaluru for the sole purpose of visiting his family and asking them for
agreeing to our marriage however, Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar has, inspite of my reluctance
and strong disagreement to not indulge in any form of sexual intimacy, manipulated me by
saying that ultimately he is going to marry me therefore, I should not have any issue
whatsoever regarding involving myself in any form of sexual intimacy with him. Many a
times even it has happened that I would strongly object and resist and restrain him from
forcing me to get sexually intimate but being in a room along out of fear and shock I was not
able to resist any further. Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar’s insistence for getting sexual favours
had reached to that level where he forced me to take contraceptive pills in case of any issue
of Pregnancy. This acts of Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar has left a deep scar on my body and
my conscience and has inflicted such mental agony, torture and hardship that is beyond any
forgiveness or compensation.

This is to inform you that you have breached her trust and shattered her, upto the point where
she has attempted to take her own life multiple times. Your dishonest and malicious web of lies
whereby upon being asked every time by her that “will you marry me?” you always said yes
and you never seemed to have any problem with her. In fact, you were the one who had
proposed her over the phone as well to marry you. This illicit behavior of yours towards her
calls for misrepresentation, breach of trust, and dishonest intention to abuse her physically,
mentally and emotionally.

It is required to draw attention here that any activity committed by any person that forcefully and
deceitfully involves taking consent of a woman for engaging in a sexual relationship and
involves sexual intercourse where the woman is under an impression that she is going to marry
that person because of promises and commitments made by him amounts to the offence of Rape.
Here what Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar did by weaving a web of lies, manipulation and deceit
amounts to Rape for reason of acquiring false consent for getting engaged in sexual intimacy
with me by always making me believe that I and the offender Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar would
marry eventually.
Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar has not only abused me physically and demaded sexual favours on
multiple occasions deceitfully and manipulatively, he has also abused me mentally and
emotionally. The severtity of his mental harassment can also be traced from the fact that I have
not been attentive in my daily life nor at home or at workplace and my life has not been the same
since this incident.
That the very fact that he imposed yourself on me without my consent to engage in such sexual
activity and sexual intercourse that was strictly against the wish and my will that the only nature
of relationship that Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar envisaged with me client was far from fulfilling
your promise to marry me. That due to false promises and commitments made by you to my
client, I have undergone depression and mental agony that is unfathomable.

Therefore, It is with great hope that I am writing this complaint letter to you for demanding
strong and stringent action against the offender Mr. Varun Madanlal Pidyar and for that purpose
I am willing to cooperate fully in any investigation that may follow and provide any further
information as required. Please let me know the next steps in this process, and if there are any
forms or applications I need to complete in order to move this process forward.

I would greatly appreciate your immediate attention to this matter. Thank you for your service
