final grading detailed drawings and other relevant civil drawings shall be
established by a competent surveyor and approved by CLIENT. The control points
levels and coordinates shall be properly checked and cross checked to a fixed
known benchmark in order to ensure the correctness of the data used during survey
works. All temporary benchmark used for day survey shall be cross checked with at
least three fixed known benchmark and if errors found survey data shall be
corrected immediately to avoid any level and coordinate errors during site
preparation works. The surface lines and levels as shown in the grading plan and
other relevant civil drawings has been established and agreed by all parties and
considered correct during the engineering phase. KAWAR ENERGY shall
personally verify the accuracy of such levels and lines. In case of any discrepancy,
KAWAR ENERGY shall inform the CLIENT who will then check such
discrepancies and shall issue final approval. CLIENT shall have the final decision
to instruct KAWAR ENERGY on what action has to be taken.
KAWAR ENERGY will use all means necessary to control dust on and near the
work and on and near all off-site borrow areas if such dust is cause during
performance of the work.
Thoroughly moisten all surfaces as required to prevent dust being a nuisance to the
public, neighbors, and concurrent performance of other work on the site.
Care shall be taken to avoid over saturating the soil that will result in soil
liquefaction and erosion, drainage shall be provided during earth works activity to
avoid any standing and pounding water on all working areas especially on areas
close to any existing equipment foundations.
1.3 Protection
KAWAR ENERGY shall develop a health & safety plan for its employees
covering any exposure to hazardous materials and shall perform all work in
