Background Road Construction Department of Field Survey Division, Advance Planning,
Road Construction Department Ranchi, Jharkhand has entrusted the work of
“Consultancy Services for Construction of Hihg level bridge at Ashirvad Banquet
to Firing Range (Bariatu)(New Alignment) Road on local River in the State Of
Jharkhand to this Consultant.
Field Survey Division, Advance Planning, Road Construction Department
Ranchi, through bidding process appointed M/s. MaRS Planning & Engineering
Services Pvt. Ltd.for preparation of HL Bridge over Local River.

5 Introduction of the The Proposed Bridge is located over the Local River on the Ashirvad Banquet to
project Firing Range (Bariatu) at 0+300 km. Presently there is no existing bridge and the
project road is a new Alignment, this road will short the distance between
boreya road to Bariyatu road.
As the project road is 2 lane with paved Shoulder, a 12.9 m of bridge has been
proposed at the Bridge Locatio.
The stream is marging on the the large river in 100 m of Down stream so the
cross section on DS has been taken in marging point of the river.
