1. CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE
Your travel is subject to Jazeera Airways General Conditions of Carriage. Some of the key conditions are set out in
this document. The full General Conditions of Carriage are available on www.jazeeraairways.com
2.CHECK-IN TIME
To help us get your flight away on time, you must check-in at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.
You will not be able to check-in after this time. Arrival at the check-in counters after this time will result in the
cancellation of your itinerary and forfeiture of all associated funds. You will be required to be at the boarding gate
at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. The aircraft will not be held for you if you arrive at the
boarding gate after this time
4. BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
4.1 Check-In Baggage
4.1.1 Business Class - all passengers (except infants) are allowed to check-in up to 50 Kg (60 kg for certain flights
according to fare rules)).
4.1.2 Economy Class (Light) – Nil baggage allowance
4.1.3 Economy Class (Value) – all passengers (except infants) are allowed to checkin up to 20 kgs
4.1.4 Economy Class (Extra) – all passengers (except infants) are allowed to checkin up to 30 kgs
4.1.5 In addition to the above checked in baggage allowances, passengers with reduced mobility are allowed to
carry free of charge one collapsible wheelchair. Wheelchairs must be loaded in the aircraft hold.
4.1.6 In accordance with the international laws, passengers are not allowed to carry any single check-in baggage
weighing more than 32 kg.
4.1.7 Perishable food such as seafood, fresh meat, fruits and vegetables etc. must be packed in properly sealed
strong igloo type iceboxes and wrapped with plastic wrappings. Any other way of packaging will not be accepted.
4.1.8 Jazeera Airways reserves the right to restrict the number of checked baggage.
4.1.9 Where carrying of excess baggage is allowed, you will be required to pay a charge for carriage of baggage in
excess of the free Baggage allowance specified in our Regulations.
4.2 Unchecked Hand Baggage
4.2.1 Business Class: 2 pieces, combined total of 15 kg.
4.2.2 Economy Class (Light, Value and Extra): 1 piece, 7 kg total weight.
4.2.3 Dimensions of hand baggage for Business and Economy Classes must not exceed 55 cm (width), 40 cm
(height) and 20 cm (depth).
4.2.4 In addition to the above hand baggage allowances, passengers with reduced mobility are allowed to carry
free of charge one pair of crutches and/or braces or any other prosthetic device.
4.2.5 Jazeera Airways does not allow the carriage of any animals or birds on board in its aircraft except guide dogs
(for visually impaired or hard to hear passengers) and falcons in the cabin.
4.2.6 All pieces of hand baggage must be declared at the check-in counters and Jazeera Airways' carry-on tags
must be issued for each piece.
4.2.7 At the boarding gate, passengers will have to pay KD 5 (or equivalent local currency) per piece for any
undeclared hand baggage which will be loaded with the checked in baggage.
5. BOARDING PROCEDURE
To help us get your flight away on time, Jazeera Airways asks you to be at the boarding gate at least 20 minutes
before the scheduled departure time. Passengers with young children, passengers requiring special assistance will
be boarded first and Jazeera Business Class passengers can board at their convenient, but not later than the
stipulated time.
8. HEALTH
Some studies have concluded that prolonged immobility may be a risk factor in the formation of blood clots in the
legs (DVT - Deep Vein Thrombosis). If you feel you may be at risk from DVT or other health problems, Jazeera
Airways recommends you consult with your doctor before travel.
9. PASSENGER SECURITY
For security reasons, all knives, sharp objects or cutting implements of any kind and any length, whether of metal
or other material, knitting needles, and sporting goods, must be packed in your check-in baggage. They cannot be
carried in your cabin baggage or on your person. If they are, the articles will be removed by the airport security
officers and not returned. Passengers carrying hypodermic needles will need to declare them at the screening
point. When requested, documentation or identification to confirm the passenger's medical condition should be
produced. Medication should have a professionally printed label identifying the medication or a manufacturer's
name or pharmaceutical label affixed. Please contact Jazeera Airways should you have a question.
