VI. History
The Toyota Hilux (Japanese: トヨタ・ハイラックス, Hepburn: Toyota Hairakkusu), stylized
as HiLux and historically as Hi-Lux, is a series of pickup trucks produced and marketed by the
Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota. The majority of these vehicles are sold as pickup
truck or cab chassis variants, although they could be configured in a variety of body styles.
The pickup truck was sold with the Hilux name in most markets, but in North America, the
Hilux name was retired in 1976 in favor of Truck, Pickup Truck, or Compact Truck. In North
America, the popular option package, the SR5 (Sport Runabout 5-Speed), was colloquially
used as a model name for the truck, even though the option package was also used on other
Toyota models, like the 1972 to 1979 Corolla. In 1984, the Trekker, the wagon version of the
Hilux, was renamed the 4Runner in Venezuela, Australia and North America, and the Hilux
Surf in Japan. In 1992, Toyota introduced a newer pickup model, the mid-size T100 in North
America, necessitating distinct names for each vehicle other than Truck and Pickup Truck.
Since 1995, the 4Runner is a standalone SUV, while in the same year Toyota introduced the
Tacoma to replace the Hilux pickup in North America.

VI. History
This Honda Jazz 1.3 i-VTEC was produced from 2015 to 2020. It replaced the . It's a
front-wheel drive front-engined 5-door small hatchback with 5 seats. With 101 BHP,
the naturally aspirated 1.3 Litre 16v Inline 4 petrol engine (Honda L-series L13B)
accelerates this Jazz 1.3 i-VTEC to 62 mph in 11.2 seconds and on to a maximum
speed of 118 mph. Having a kerb weight of 1,138 kg, it achieves 56.5 mpg on
average and can travel 497 miles before requiring a refill of its 40 litre capacity fuel
tank. It comes with a choice of either a 6 speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic

If you’re looking for an incredibly versatile small car that won’t cost a fortune to run,
the new hybrid Honda Jazz is a brilliant option. It’s more appealing than ever before,
thanks to fresh new looks and a revamped interior - not to mention the much
improved media system and the latest safety technology. On the downside, it’s a
little expensive, and the hybrid setup won’t appeal to everyone.

VI. History
The Skyactiv-G[7] is a family of direct injection petrol engines. The engine
compression ratio is increased to 14.0:1. To reduce the risk of engine knock
at high compression, residual gas is reduced by using 4-2-1 engine exhaust
systems, implementing a piston cavity, and optimizing fuel injection. In
addition, combustion duration is shortened by intensifying air flow,
increasing injection pressure, and using multi-hole injectors.
It features an all-aluminum construction with chain-driven dual overhead
camshafts with VVT and gasoline direct injection; with direct ignition, it
meets ULEV emission standards. Skyactiv-G engines for the U.S. market have
a lower compression ratio of 13:1 allowing them to operate on standard
instead of premium fuel with an approximate 3-5 percent reduction in
torque and fuel economy.[8]

The Mazda 6 has always been a litmus test for automotive enthusiasm. For those
given to dreams of twisty mountain roads and the mythical bond between man and
machine, the 6 is as close as you can get to a four-door Miata. Of course, this has not
always translated to spectacular sales. The 6 may be fun, yet it has always lagged the

market leaders in terms of luxury and economy. Now, with Mazda's comprehensive
Skyactiv philosophy, the 6 gets lighter, faster, more economical and more spacious.
