Lengths: 7 Minutes (+/- 10%)
File Type: MP4 (other media files will not be accepted)
Submission: via Moodle – File Size maximum 20 MB + Script

Learning Outcomes:
2. Analyse appropriate models used across a broad range of Human Resource Management workplace practices.
3. Compare and contrast a range of Human Resource Management strategies to achieve an optimal workforce.

Scenario:
You are hired as the HR Consultant by the company that you created for Assessment 1. You are required to propose a reward package for a job in the company. The

the Director of HR. Ensure that your reward package is aligned to the relevant external and internal factors that a company must consider when deciding on and designing
reward packages.

Task:
Use the Total Reward Approach to design and recommend the total reward package (TRP) for a job of your choice in the company (SME) you have created. In order to
justify the recommended package, you will also submit a simple job description for the chosen job, as one of the supporting documents. The package will be for a different

job but placed in the same company (of group project); however, the position will be discussed with tutor as no two students from a group will work on the same position.
(Example: if you used the Marketing Manager’s job in Assessment one, you should use another job now. E.g.: Customer Care Executive or Accounting Manager).
You are expected to present your work in screencast using PowerPoint slides. To assist you in setting up a screencast using PowerPoint please refer to the PDF file called
“Guide Screencast in PPT”.

Screencast Instructions:
Your screencast should be clear, concise and well organized. Your work should follow the appropriate style guidelines page with student name, ID, tutor, course, class
number. The assessment will be delivered in the form of a screencast lasting for 7 minutes (+/- 10%) and a script of that. Your face MUST appear in the screencast while
presenting. You are required to develop a power-point presentation deck of your ideas presented by your voice-over in audio form. Further resources on recording and
developing screencasts are available on Moodle.

Please ensure your file is no bigger than 20 MB as this is the maximum capacity for Moodle. It should be submitted on time and supported with in-text referencing, if
appropriate, and must include APA reference list. Trustworthy sources are required.

For your screencast, please follow the framework below, which provides a detailed description of what is
required and the marks available.

- If the length restriction of the screencast (i.e. 7 minutes) is not respected, 5% will be deducted from the assessment grade for every extra minute.
- If the file format of the screencast is not MP4 your screencast will not be viewed, and you will receive Zero grade for this assessment.
- If the script is not submitted, your screencast will not be viewed, and you will receive Zero grade for this assessment.
