CV Thembi Updated Ekurhuleni
I am a qualified pharmacist, with 20 years’ experience across different sectors of pharmacy. I am a good
communicator with desirable analytical, problem solving, facilitation, and research skills. I can work
independently within a team, using my excellent people management skills. My work experience includes
pharmaceutical procurement and distribution (CDU), pharmaceutical technology, training and development
as well as management of pharmaceutical services within the different levels of care of the Public Health
Service and recently in the Private sector. I am goal-driven, highly effective at working with pharmacy
stakeholders. I have also attained a qualification in law, which gives me a greater understanding of health
law and the legislative framework upon which pharmaceutical services are provided. My exposure at the
South African Pharmacy Council, augments my skills in relation to the implementation of pharmacy
prescripts, therefore giving me an advantage in the management of a pharmacy and its services.
