Chapter no 1 : ( Numbers up to 100,000 )

Topic: Counting to 100,000

Topic: Comparing Numbers
Topic: Ordering Numbers
Increasing/Ascending Order: Arranged in a series that begins with the least
or smallest and ends with the greatest or largest.

Decreasing/Decending Order: Arranged in a series that begins with the

greatest or largest and ends with the least or smallest
Topic : Number Patterns
Topic : Rounding Numbers
Here's the general rule for rounding:
1. If the number you are rounding is followed by 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9, round the
number up. Example: 38 rounded to the nearest ten is 40. ...
2. If the number you are rounding is followed by 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4, round the
number down. Example: 33 rounded to the nearest ten is 30.
Topic : Roman Numerals
Chapter no 2 : Multiplication and Division
Multiplication is when you take one number and add it together a
number of times. Example: 5 multiplied by 4 = 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 20. We took
the number 5 and added it together 4 times. This is why multiplication is
sometimes called "times".
Division is breaking a number up into an equal number of parts.
Example: 20 divided by 4 = ? If you take 20 things and put them into four
equal sized groups, there will be 5 things in each group.
Topic : Factors
Factor, in mathematics, a number or algebraic expression that divides
another number or expression evenly—i.e., with no remainder. For
example, 3 and 6 are factors of 12 because 12 ÷ 3 = 4 exactly and 12 ÷ 6 =
2 exactly. The other factors of 12 are 1, 2, 4, and 12.
Topic : Multiples
Topic : Multiplying by 1-Digit Number
(a) 4576 × 3 (b) 4098 × 6

(c ) 6340 × 7 (d) 9 × 2581

Topic : Multiplying by 2-Digit Numbers

i) 145 × 30 (b) 80× 261

(c ) 569 × 34 (d) 73×35

Topic : Dividing by 1-Digit Number

Divide:

a) 345 ÷ 6 b) 6078 ÷ 9

c) 1053 ÷ 5 d) 8960 ÷ 7
Topic : Fractions
Fractions represent the parts of a whole or collection of objects. A
fraction has two parts. The number on the top of the line is called
the numerator. It tells how many equal parts of the whole or
collection are taken. The number below the line is called the
denominator.

Mixed : Fraction
Fraction made up of a whole number and a proper number is called
Mixed fraction. Fraction whose numerator is less than its
denominator is called Proper fraction. Proper fraction is always less
than a whole.

Q#1: Find the missing mixed number in number line.

Q#2 : Express each mixed number in its simplest form.
Subtract and express each answer in its lowest form.
