sets , containing all the elements satisfying the given conditions .

32. In a survey of 500 television viewers , it was found that 285 watch football , 195
watch hockey , 115 watch basketball,45 watch football and basketball , 70 watch
football and hockey , 50 watch hockey and basketball, 50 do not watch any of the three
games.
Based on the following information , answer the following
(i) How many viewers watch at least any one of the three games ?

33. If there are p elements in set A and q elements in set B , then there will be pq elements

34. A student of class XI draw a square of side 10 cm . Another student join the mid
points of this square to form new square , again the mid points of the sides of this new
square are joined to form another square , This process continued indefinitely

Based on the above information answer the following questions:

(i) Find the side of the 4th square 1M

(iii) Find the area of the fifth square 2M

35. If n(A)= m , number of subsets of set A = 2n
Two finite sets A and B have m and k elements . If the ratio of number of subsets of set
A to number of subsets of set B is 64:1 . If n(A)+n(B)=12 , then find the values of m
and k also find the number of elements of power set of sets A and B.
36. A solution of 9 % acid is diluted by adding 3% acid solution to it . The resulting
mixture is to be more than 5% but less than 7% acid. If there is 460 litres of the 9%
solution , how many litres of 3% solution will have to be added.
