history of business

My favorite thing to do in the afternoons throughout my high school years was hang out with pals.
Around our regular location, we would congregate and experiment with different combinations of
ingredients for our halo-halo, treating it like a candy science lab. During a relaxed meeting, my friend
halted and suggested turning this into a business while holding a scoop of halo-halo halfway to his
mouth. The concept remained even though we all laughed.

Beginning with a little cart outside the school gates, we painted the term "Halobite" on it in a creative
way, fusing our favorite dessert with the notion of taking a "bite" out of something new.

Selling halo-halo wasn't the only goal; we also wanted to share a little bit of our creativity, friendship,
and humor with each cup we served. And thus was founded Halobite, a company spawned by the love
of a traditional Filipino dessert and the carefree delight of high school hangouts. 🍧

product details

Halo-Halo: What is it? In Filipino, halo-halo is referred to as "mix-mix" and tastes like a vibrant party in
your mouth. Picture a frosted glass that is layered with delicious delights.

The Base: Shaved ice is our first step. Yes, the kind that gives you a "Brrr!" feeling. But hold on, things get
better!

Mix-Ins a Plenty:

Red, white, or garbanzo beans are examples of sweetened beans. Dessert with beans? I promise—it
works!

Sweet saba bananas, ripe Manila mango slices, and jackfruit (langka) are examples of fruity goodness.
They resemble tiny rays of sunshine.

Purple Yam Jam (Ube Halaya): It tastes magical, is creamy, and is purple in color.

Imagine a caramelized custard, or leche flan. It resembles a tender embrace for your taste receptors.

Young Coconut (Buko): Slender segments of coconut. revitalizing

Kernels of sweet corn: Why not?

Sago (tapioca pearls): Chewy, tiny balls that can be used for hide-and-seek games.

The Agar-Agar Jelly (also known as Gulaman) jiggles a lot. Enjoyable!

Crunch is added by Rice Crispies (Pinipig). like a trail mix for an excursion in the desert.

The Toppings:
Drizzle everything with evaporated milk. Wonderfully creamy!

Ube, or purple yam, vanilla, or mango ice cream. It's your decision!

More crunch is always preferable, so add extra pinipig.

Mix Things Up!:-

Mix everything together with a large spoon. Observe how the hues dance. There you have it! The
brilliance of Halo-Halo!

Halo-Halo is like an explosion of flavor, which is why I adore it. A spoonful has all the flavors of sweet,
creamy, chewy, and frosty. In addition, it's the perfect summertime dessert. Take advantage of the
shade, locate a position, and plunge in when the sun is shining. The heat will be forgotten!

Don’t pass up this dessert trip the next time you’re in the Philippines. Recall that this is a masterwork of
mix-matched ingredients, not just a dessert! 🎈🍨
