CHILHOOD MEMORIES:

Valery:I remember when I was a child that after school, I often went to
eat ice cream with my parents. How I enjoy those times. How about you
Alfredo?

Alfredo: I was born outside a city, grew up between nature, animals and
crops. I remember that, to go to school, I had to face the rain, the cold
winds and the suffocating heat and in my free time I shepard about fifty
sheeps, What do you do in your free time?

Valery: In my free time, When I was studying I thought about finishing

quickly so I could go play with my Friends and my mother helped me
with my homework.

Alfredo: One of the most vivid memories that I have is when my father
took me across a river to cut totora, we entered a nearby lake and for
what seemed hours we cut the totora. Also, I remember receiving a prize
at the school, I had won a knowledge contest. It was great! All my
Friends congratulate me for that.

Valery: I remember I was going to visit my aunt to play dolls with my

cousin. We played Paises with the neighbors. Who were your friends?

Alfredo: My friends were the children of neighbors, classmates and my

cousins. We had a sikuri group, and on the weekends we played
together. We were really united until I departed for Arequipa, when I was
seventeen years old. What things did you do with your friends?

Valery: I practiced volleyball and also went to dance classes. I also

have a prize, I was spring queen at my school. What games did you
play?

Alfredo: With my cousins we played football some nights, when our

parents weren't looking, with rag balls and goals of wood and the cold
nights. The only thing that mattered to us was play. We didn't have
much, but we enjoyed it to its fullest. When I was alone I played with
rocks and wood, trying to make a car, it is so different from the cell
phone games, sometimes I feel I´m in another country.
Valery: Good times!. Bye Alfredo

Alfredo: Good bye Valery.
