Objectives: - Enhance observation skills and learn to distinguish between living and non-living things in nature - Identify living and non-living things - Recognize the importance of living things in our daily lives Exploring Living and Non-Living Things in Nature - Teacher will take the students on a guided walk in the school - Encourage them to observe and identify living things (plants, animals, insects, etc.) and non-living things (rocks, water, soil, etc.). - Teacher will ask questions to reinforce understanding, such as: - What did you see? Was it living thing? - Was it non-living thing? - How do living things depend on non-living things? Homework Observe and identify living and non-living things in your surroundings. Take a closer look at the things around your home. Day : 2 ACTIVITY 1.Read the sentences, underline the living things and circle the non-living things. a. The ball rolls quickly. b. Draw pictures of two living and non-living things (On A4 paper) Homework Prepare a presentation on any one living thing and draw a diagram of selected living thing. Day : 3 Presentation The teacher will listen to the presentations that were given yesterday and appreciate the students' hard work. Day : 4 Animals and their homes Objective: - Identify animals and their young ones (e.g. cat - kitten, dog - puppy) - Recognize different types of animal homes (e.g. nest, den, burrow) - Understand the importance of animal homes for shelter and protection Activity: First, the teacher will discuss animals, their young ones, and their homes, then will write related activity on the board.
