Cuzamá
• In Cuzamá there is a church in which the Holy Trinity
is venerated that was built in the sixteenth century
and there are also archaeological sites of the pre-
Columbian Mayan culture such as Eknacán.

• The cenotes of Cuzamá are a rich variety of
underground caves with crystal clear waters and cave
paintings in the town.
Chelentún.
It has an 8-meter-long concrete staircase and a wooden
platform to access the water. The water mirror is blue and
measures 48 meters long by 20 meters wide and a maximum
depth of 15 meters. It was used in times of the henequen boom
by the landowners as a spa, of which some vestiges are still
preserved.
Bolonchojol.
It is very frequented even for taking pictures for its spectacular
beauty and is part of the circuit of cenotes of Cuzama. It has a
ladder and a wooden platform that serves to comfortably
access the water mirror. The color of the water is blue and it
measures 40 meters long by 35 meters wide and a maximum
depth of 40 meters.
Chacsinic-ché'. The color of the water is blue and
its mirror measures 20 meters
long by 10 meters wide and a
maximum depth of 40 meters.

facilitates the immersion into the
interior of the cavities, making it
possible to visualize its
formations that emerge from the
floor and others that hang from
the ceiling of its vault.
Tekit
Tekit, Yucatan is a municipality located in the south-
central area of the state, belonged to the so-called
henequen zone of Yucatan. Its lands have an
agricultural vocation for the cultivation of agave.

Tekit-archaeological ruins.
Among its tourist attractions you can find: the former
convent of San Antonio de Padua, built in the sixteenth
century and the chapel of San Cristóbal.

The old convent of San Antonio de Padua, built in
the 16th century, is located in the town's main
square, which is shaped like a bullring, with a coat
of arms on its façade and numerous images of
16th-century saints placed in niches inside.
Chapel San Cristobal.

The Chapel of San Cristobal was built in 1591 and has a


wonderful collection of paintings from the 16th century.
In 1847, it was the scene of bloody fighting in the wake
of the "Caste War".
Cenote Becal.
The Becal cenote is one of the most popular in
Tekit, due to its shallow depth and easy access, it
is ideal for the whole family, with rock formations
that give it additional beauty.
Tecoh
Tecoh from the Mayan "Place of the Puma", its
population is mostly of Mayan descent, being a small
colonial village dedicated to tourism and textile
industry.
Hacienda Sotuta de Peón.

The hotel has beautiful bungalows that were created


with a typical Mexican vibe in mind, inspired by local
influences and concentrating on natural materials for
high comfort and positive energy. It also maintains its
henequen production, as it has extensive henequen
plantations and an old powerhouse.
Cenote Dzul-ha'.
The Dzul-Ha cenote; whose Mayan name means
"Knight of Water", it is a cavern-like cenote; It is wide
and has shallow waters, ideal for swimming. The cenote
features artificial lighting that highlights the turquoise
tones of the water.
