Differentiation Strategies:
- Some students have yet to complete their zoomed in mixed media drawings in their sketchbook. These
students will be given 15 mins at the beginning of class to do this, while those who are finished move on to
todays task
- Those who are ready to move on at the beginning of class, will be given an experimenting exercise with the
second medium they have chosen in their sketchbook. They will be tasked with showing examples of tone &
texture made using their medium (students given specific handouts on how to achieve tone & texture in their
preferred medium)
Literacy and numeracy: Resources:
- Students must complete sketchbook work in Handouts on achieving tone & texture in chosen medium
