Final size
About 7 in. (17.5 cm.) tall and 12.5 in. (32
cm.) long if you use worsted weight yarn
and a 4.00 mm. crochet hook.
Supplies
• Worsted weight yarn in colors:
o Main Color - 180 yards/165 meters.
I used turquoise for Neil the
Narwhal (Red Heart Super Saver in
“Aruba Sea”) and baby pink for
Wendy the Whale (Red Heart Super
Saver in “Baby Pink”)
o White - 45 yards/41 meters
(Red Heart Super Saver in “White”)
o Light Grey - 10 yards/9 meters
(Red Heart Super Saver in “Light
Grey”)
o Magenta (Optional/For the bow) -
7 yards/6.5 meters (I used El Gato
“Expres” yarn in color 4450C)
• 4.00 mm. crochet hook
• Two (15 mm.) safety eyes
• Thin black yarn for eyelashes (optional)
• Yarn needle, stitch markers and scissors
• Stuffing material of your choice
Notes
• Crochet very tight, so the toy keep its
shape and stuffing won’t show through the
stitches.
• You can make a bigger toy by using a
larger size of hook and thicker yarn (just
adjust the size of the eyes too).

Use main color and white yarn. Work in R41: [6 sc, 1 dec(sc)] x6 (42)
rounds, without joining the rounds. Use a R42: [5 sc, 1 dec(sc)] x6 (36)
