Market linkage of Mayani to High Value Crops Federation of Sariaya

High Value Crops Federation of Sariaya
Due to the continuous demand for regular delivery of
vegetables commodities for our institutional buyer, MAYANI.PH,
we coordinated with High Value Crops Federation of Sariaya
which composes of farmers of both lowland and upland
vegetable commodities.
We discussed the PROGRAM HELEN that the Marketing Unit is
pursuing. And then we proceeded with the discussion about
MAYANI as a company, their Purchase orders, form of
transactions including the mode of payment.
Due to the effects of typhoon Aghon, the farmers are also on
their current activity of land preparation and replanting. Some
of the plantation are being recovered and target harvest is
month of July.
This meeting is also in preparation for the field visitation of
Mayani.PH in the area along with their foreign investors.
On the same day, we were able to get their commitments on
engaging with Mayani and we have identified the farms to be
visited by the investors.
