Statement of the Problem

This research study aims to investigate volunteer management

practices of DSWD NRLMB as Basis for developing intervention

program. Specifically, it seeks to find answers to the following

questions:

1. How do the middle management, rank-in-file personnel and

volunteers assesses the volunteer management practices of

DSWD as to the following?

1.1 Screening, Recruitment and Selection

1.2 Orientation and Training

1.3 Deployment and Mobilization

1.4 Retention

2. Is there a significant difference between the assessment of

the three groups pf respondents as to the abovementioned

variables?

3. What are the facilitating and hindering factors encountered

by the respondents?

4. Based on the findings, what intervention programs may be

proposed?

5. How acceptable the proposed intervention program?
