Let’s Warm Up! (15 minutes)

Imagine you are a writer, and you need to create a


character for your new story. On a piece of paper, draw the
main character for your story. Then, call three students to
present their work.

Let’s Explore! (15 minutes) (LO1)

● The students need to list the characters in the
story, the setting, and the plot using the table
below.

Activity: Think of your favorite story. Note important details in


summarizing it.

Let’s Review! (15 minutes)

The students will find their partners. The teacher will give them
5 minutes to retell their favorite story to their classmates. The
teacher will then call three pairs to the front. These pairs need
to answer the question, 'How will you be able to retell the story
to your partner?

Explain that using noting details makes it easier to retell a story


to others.

Community' on pages 3-4.

What traits do we possess if we know how to take care of our


home, school, and community?

After reading the story, the students will answer the following

Review the students on the rules of regular plural nouns and


irregular plural nouns using 'show and tell.'

Show the word and tell them its plural form.

Practice integrity while answering the quiz.


Reiterate the rules, such as raising your hand if you have a
question, avoiding talking to your seatmates, and staying

Let’s Warm-up! (10 minutes)

ChatCraze: 2 Truths and 1 Lie

The students will find their pair, and they will play '2 Truths and
1 Lie.' The teacher will give them 3 minutes to talk with each
other. After 3 minutes, both of them will try to guess the lie that
their partner has said. The teacher will call at least 3 pairs to
share their experiences in front.

Let’s Explore! (20 minutes) LO1

Discuss the differences between 'real' and 'made-up'


concepts and provide examples.

Real refers to things that exist or events that have occurred in


the actual world. These are facts, events, or situations that
can be verified and have happened or are happening in
reality.

Example: The Earth is round.

Made-up, on the other hand, refers to things that are created


or imagined. These are fictional or invented concepts, events,
or situations that do not exist in the real world.

Example: A unicorn with wings.

Let the students give their own examples of real and made-up
situations.

Identify whether the pictures below are real or made up.

Write “real” if the statement below is reality and “made-up” if


it is fantasy.
