Answer the following questions

• How was the town at the beginning of the story?

the town was full of nature life with beautiful landscapes where you could see different
wild animals.

• How is it currently?
It became a whole panorama full of uncertainty, full of death due to the number of diseases
that appeared every day..

• How is it predicted to be in the future?

The future that is predicted for the entire earth is the eviction of the whole, it was
predicted that the people and the few animals that are still in the area will migrate to other
places where they can survive..

• In your opinion, does the story give any message for us? Which one? Explain it on
your own words.
In my opinion, if it gives us a message, it is to take care of the environment, how
important it is to take care of nature, animals, for the lives of us human beings, I think it
is the most significant message that history gives us.

It was a place where pollution was nil but
human beings with their eagerness for
progress have intervened in the swamp,
including roads that should not be there.
a place totally full of garbage many of its
mangroves have died its road that prevents the
entry of water into the swamp has prevented
the entry of fish and many species to migrate
to find other places to feed.
It will be a totally desolate place without life.
In conclusion, if we do not do something for
our natural environments, we will be left
without any and we will have to assume as a
species the consequences of our actions. I
believe that we still have time to intervene
and try to correct all the damage that we have
done.

Step 5: Creation of a story

A BETTER WORLD
Our story begins in the department of Magdalena, specifically in its swamp "Cienega del
Magdalena" one of the swamps that made up of towns, many of them stilt houses, very humble
fishing villages, full of mangroves, vegetation, fauna, conformed as a place full of a lot of life in
all aspects.
But the interventions by land that we human beings have made in recent years have
directly affected the entire Magdalena swamp, not allowing the entry of sea waters where
quantities of fish entered and fed thousands of species, as well as the waste thrown by to its
waters from the voters and the residents of the same towns.
These acts that we human beings have affected the cienega del magdalena in its entire
ecosystem, driving away thousands of animal species that inhabited its waters and its
surroundings in the same way to all its mangroves that many of them in recent years have begun
to disappear affecting not only animals but also us human beings as global warming and the
extinction of species.
Every act that we do towards our ecosystems throughout our country sooner or later we
will have the consequences, the extinction of species, deaths of natural places, felling of trees,
each of these acts will destroy our uncertain future.
