Material Preparation
After the task assigned. The first thing that we do is cut the raw material and devine
it for 3 teams follow the
drawing. Dimension from the raw material is ….. mm and we use Denso machine to
cut it.

2. Material explanation
Base on the drawing, material dimension is 47mm X 100 mm X 8 mm. But for the
height,
we give some tolerance and make it 12 mm because the rest will be used to be
clamped on the vise.
we also give tolerance +_ 1 mm to make sure after process the material dimension
still fit to the drawing.

3. Drawing explanation (top surface)

on the top surface we have to create hole 6 with diameter 4 mm and through the
material and the position from each hole is as you can see in the drawing (explain),
and we also create 2 hole in midpoint of material lenght which the first/outside hole
diameter is 42 mm and the depth is 4 mm.
And for the second/ inside hole diameter is 28 mm and cut through the material.

4. Drawing explanation (Side surface)

on the bottom side from the lenght side we will create 4 hole with 4mm diameter. All
hole are in midpoint of height material (4mm)
the first left and right hole are on 5 mm from the edge, and the second left and right
are ....mm from the first hole to inside. And in the upside, each edge from the
material
will be rounded with radiant 25mm

5. Setting zero point

Turn on spindle by pressing "spindle start" button, then using the joge controll select
the Z axist and set the movement speed(1,10,100)

first set the position of the drill above the material using the controller and selector in
Z. also using the controller, set selector to X axis,
and set the movement speed (1, 10, 100). After that turn on spindle and start to
move the drill to the left/ right side of the material then select Z and turn selector to
the left
to pull down the drill

6. machine setup
Clamp the workpiece with a vise, while tapping with a rubber mallet to ensure that
the workpiece is level. then set the base position X and Y on the workpiece. then
setting the Z height of the workpiece, and make sure the position Z=0 is right above
the workpiece. in setting the values of X, Y, and Z it is necessary to use paper to
avoid the endmill from scratching the workpiece during setup.
7. running machine by program
after setting up the machine enter the program to be executed via MDI mode. after
the program enters, press the running cycle button and when the endmill moves, the
operator turns the speed knob so that it doesn't go too fast

8. manual drill process

in this circle (showing the drawing using the cursor) is done using a manual drill with
a circle size of 4 mm on the right and left sides of the workpiece. and perform a
manual drill on the bottom edge of the workpiece with a diameter of 4 mm

9. G Code explanation
if followed according to the G code program, the machine will start working first on a circle
measuring 42 mm with a depth of 4 mm then a circle measuring 28 mm with a depth of penetrating
the workpiece. milling the upper corner with a radius of 25 mm left and right corners with the same
type of endmill diameter
