I. Objectives
At the end of the 50-minute session, the pupils will be able to:
a) Identify the characteristics of a successful entrepreneur;
b) Explain the meaning of sellers and buyers;
c) Appreciate the importance of entrepreneurship

Content Standards: Demonstrates knowledge and skills that will lead to one
becoming an ideal entrepreneur.
Performance Standards: Sells products based on needs and demands.

II. Subject Matter


Learning Competency: Produces simple products, buys and sells products
based on needs, sells products based on needs and
demands in school and community.
Topic: The Ideal Entrepreneur

Materials: laptop, power- point presentation, pictures, activity sheets, manila
paper, pentel pen

III. Procedure
A. Preliminary Activities
1. Classroom Routine
• Prayer
• Greetings
• Attendance
2. Motivation. (Bahay, Baboy, Bagyo)

a. The teacher will group the class into six (6), and one (1) of the people
is free to insert;
b. After the recital of bahay, baboy, bagyo, the one who does not have
group will insert into another group,
c. The group that gets the last one entry will be eliminated

B. Presentation
1. Activity (READING TIME)

a. The teacher will read the short story of the “Famous Successful
Filipino Entrepreneurs” in- front of the class; After that, ask questions to
track pupil’s comprehension;

1. Who are the famous Entrepreneurs being presented?


2. Why is it important to build a business?
3. How did their business start and how did they maintain
those?

2.Analysis.
- Ask the pupils for follow- up questions;
1. Do you know other entrepreneurs from your community?
2. What do you think are the secrets of their success in
entrepreneurship?
3. Do you wish to become like them? Why or why not?

3. Abstraction/ Generalization:

1. What is Entrepreneur?
2. What is the importance of Entrepreneur in our community?
3. What is product? What is service?
4. What are the two people or parties involved in business
transaction?

4. Application. (QUESTION AND ANSWER PORTION)

➢ The teacher will ask the learners to get one half sheet of paper
and answer the following;

Direction: Read the following statements below. Identify and write B if it


refers to the Buyer and S if it’s seller.

1. Owns or manages a store or business establishment.


2. Also refers to a consumer who makes use of the goods to meet his/
her needs or wants and those of his family.

use.

IV. Evaluation.

Direction: Write the word Agree on the line if the statement is correct and write
the word Disagree if the statement is incorrect.

1. Buyers are person who agree to purchase finished products or services.


2. Sellers should not provide warranty for the products or services.
3. Sellers are persons who transfer goods and provide services in
exchange for money
4. Sellers should make business fairly with buyers.
5. To provide warranty to buyers is a right of the sellers.
