 CHAPTER I

A. ABSTRAK

Hello, my name is Sabrina aurelia, people usually call me Sabrina and

I’m from global Islamic school 2 serpong, and I found myself getting
interested in technology communication research, and I’m came from IX
SOCIAL 1, so what is technology communication? Technology
communication is a broad umbrella term covering all technical equipment
for processing and conveying information on the media.

So, understand Technology communication in School is the name of

understanding that stand alone as an integration of concept of Technology
sciences, humanities, and even various issues. providing newer, better and
faster ways for people to interact, network, seek help, gain access to
information, and learn. In addition to its ubiquity, Information and
Communication Technology has enormous economic significance.
Communication Technology is a term that encompasses all the technologies
and services involved in computing, data management, telecommunications
provision, and the internet. All these technologies deal with the transmission
and reception of information of some kind. These are some of the reasons on
why I chose “Technology communication that influence on the
environment” as my topic.
B. BACKGROUND

Technology communication is the transfer of messages (information)

among people and/or machines through the use of technology. This
processing of information can help people make decisions, solve problems,
and control machines. it’s just like technology standard. Communication has
a broad meaning, namely all activities related to processing, manipulating,
managing, transferring information between media. The term ICT emerged
after the combination of computer technology (both hardware and software)
with communication technology in the mid-20th century. The combination
of these two technologies is growing rapidly beyond other technological
fields. Until the beginning of the 21st century, ICT is still undergoing
various changes and has not seen its saturation point.
Technology has greatly increased the speed of communication, as well
as contributed to the drastic reduction of communication costs. The quality
of communication has improved significantly due to the availability and
accessibility of useful knowledge on various websites. The factors that can
affect our communication are; eye contact, body language, posture, tone of
voice, gestures, and facial expressions. Here is an example of how each will
affect the way we communicate. Eye contact allows us to guess other
people's thoughts and feelings just by looking into their eyes.
Over the years, technology has revolutionized the world and our daily
lives. In addition, technology for seniors has created incredible tools and
resources, putting useful information at our fingertips. Communication,
exchange of ideas, has become faster, easier and more efficient due to
technological advances. Cell phones, social networking sites, email, and
instant messaging are examples of technologies that enable communication.
 CHAPTER II
C. HYPOTHESES
Technology has changed the way we communicate and do business. It
is the most useful tool we have and is constantly updated with new devices,
programs or platforms. Businesses have to leverage communication with
these tools to be successful because of how much society uses technology.
Communication is mainly through landlines and desktops and now there are
smartphones and laptops, giving us the ability to work seamlessly on the
move, remotely, or in the office. Graduates entering the field of
communication technology need to develop engineering and computer
science skills. The ability to communicate allows professionals to
understand and explain the problems that arise in this technology.
Individuals also need to have skills in business, critical thinking, and as a
solid knowledge of computer programming. In addition, the individual must
have skills in troubleshooting and repairing broken or malfunctioning
communication technologies.

D. PROBLEM
Based on the background above the formulation of the problem to be raised is:
1. What are the benefits technology in communication?
2. Are technology communication important?
3. What are the negative effect of technology communication?
E. CONCLUSION
Communication technology has helped to make the communication
process more convenient and easier. Electronic communications such as text
messages, email, and social networking sites, are examples of communication
technologies. Organizations make use of electronic communication in their daily
operations while people personally use communication technology to strengthen
social life.
Using technology to communicate effectively among people is a new
skill that not all people have. Technology and digital communication have
actually helped people with their communication skills and learn how to create
comprehensible messages in many characters or less.
With all these revolutions, technology has also made our lives easier,
faster, better and more enjoyable. But from that expert have found that apart
from making our lives more comfortable, you’re losing sleep or skipping
physical activities due to technology use. It's causing you stress, or you're
noticing physical side effects, such as tension headaches, eye strain, muscle
pain, or overuse injuries. You can't seem to stop. there is a downside to
technology it can be addictive and can damage our communication skills.
Extended screen time can lead to health consequences such as insomnia, eye
fatigue, and increased anxiety and depression.
