METHODOLOGY

The Method Used Are, The Chain Survey Method With Compass, While The Data’s Are
Obtained In Clockwise i.e A-B, B-C, C-D, And D-A.

RESULTS OBTAINED

The Results Obtained From Using Tape (Linear Measurements) And Using Compass
(Bearing) At Any Two Consecutive Station In Clockwise:

PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED

1 The Crosshairs Of The Compass Used Are Almost Cleaned Which Delayed In Taking
The Compass Reading.
2 Also One Of The Ranging Pole Is Bent, As A Result There Is Difficulty In Bisecting The
Poles.
3 Ranging Poles Were Not Enough, Had To Wait For Other Group To Finish So We
Could Start

RECOMMENDATION.

The Department Should Check The Survey Instruments/Equipments, If They Are All Still
In Order Of Use And Replace Those That Are Not Good.
