reasoning; supplementary angles, complementary angles, congruent angles, vertical
angles, adjacent angles, linear pairs, perpendicular lines, and parallel lines. M7GE-IIIb-1

2. Uses a compass and straightedge to bisect line segments and angles and construct
perpendiculars and parallels. M7GE-IIIde-1

Goal:

Your task is to create a floor plan for the dream bungalow house of your client’s
family that consists of 5 members and will be built in a flatland located in a rural but

preferences. The client wants to build a bungalow house for her family, which consists of
five members. The bungalow house will be built on a lot that measures 40m by 25m
and is located on flat land. The total floor area of the house should be 672 𝑚2 . The floor
plan should have accurate measurements of the sides and angles, and its dimensions
should be based on the scale factor to represent its actual measurement. The rooms and
areas should have labels. Lastly, your floor plan should be creative, safe, and comfortable.

Performance/Product:
You need to draw a floor plan that consists of different polygons with the
measurements of

its side and angles and also the labels of the rooms and areas.

1. You will be scheduling a meeting with the clients to discuss their needs and desires
for a bungalow house.

The client’s preference:

• The front yard is 75𝑚2

• The backyard is 125𝑚2
• Has 3 bedroom and 1 master bedroom
• Every bedroom has toilet and bath with walk-in closet
• Has a powder room
• Has a living area
• Has a kitchen
• Has a laundry area
2. You have to develop rough sketches and floor plan layouts based on the information
gathered during the discussion.
3. Using any digital software that are available (like SketchUp, LayOut, Geogebra and
etc.) to develop a chosen floor plan option into a detailed blueprint based on the data
you have obtained from your discussion.
