Smiles Organization. As a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Western
Mindanao State University, I was instantly captivated by your organization's mission to uplift and
empower vulnerable children and families. Throughout my academic journey, I had the immense
privilege of gaining hands-on experience through various internships and community initiatives. These
opportunities allowed me to cultivate critical skills in case management, crisis intervention, and trauma-
informed care practices. During my field placement at the Community Outreach led by the DSWD , I
facilitated support groups for at-risk youth, developing therapeutic rapport and tailoring evidence-based
curricula. This role strengthened my abilities to be an empathetic, culturally-responsive practitioner.

What particularly draws me to Little Sweet Smiles is your comprehensive approach that extends beyond
individual treatment to include community outreach, advocacy, and preventative programs. I am
passionate about taking a holistic, systemic perspective to address root causes and provide wraparound
services. In our Social Policy course, I collaborated with classmates to conduct a community needs
assessment and propose sustainable initiatives - an experience that highlighted the powerful impact of
such interventions.

As a fresh graduate, I possess an eagerness to learn and grow alongside accomplished professionals like
yourselves. My education has provided a strong theoretical foundation, which I am excited to enhance
with real-world application under your organization's mentorship. Despite my recent entry into the field, I
will bring dedication, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to your mission of creating brighter
