Dear Sir/Madam,

SUB: “NRJ State Sub-Junior & Junior Aquatic Championship – 2024-25”

1.0 We are pleased to inform you that NRJ STATE SUB-JUNIOR & JUNIOR AQUATIC
CHAMPIONSHIP- 2024-25 will be held in the month of JULY 2024 at
Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre.
2.0 Date : 5th to 7th July for group 1A,1B,3A &3B and 9th to 11th July 2024 for the
group 2A,2B &2C for both Boys & Girls.

3.0 All swimming events of 400 m. and above will be held on Time Trials basis and
50’s, 100’s & 200’s will be conducted as heats and finals in the evening sessions.

3.1 During the above Meet, State Sub-Junior & Junior Teams will be selected
for the forthcoming 39th Sub-Junior National & 49th Junior National
Aquatic Championship.

4.0 The State Championship will be held in the following Age Groups in Swimming.

6.0 ELIGIBILITY TO COMPETE IN THE STATE SUB-JUNIOR & JUNIOR AQUATIC

CHAMPIONSHIP – 2024-25.

a. All Competitors who participate in the above Competition shall be KSA

Registered Swimmers for the year 2024-25.

b. SFI UID is compulsory during the State championship.

c. Only those Clubs who have renewed their affiliation for the year 2024-25 are
permitted to send their entries.

d. Entry Fees of Rs. 100/- for Individual events (Swimming), Rs. 200/- for Relay
events (Swimming) shall be sent along with the Entry Forms. (Defaulters will
not be permitted to participate in the above Meet).
 e. Entries should be sent to us by “on line” only. The invitation to send the
entries on line will be sent to you shortly.

7.0 DISCIPLINE DURING THE COMPETITION

a. Swimmers who produce wrong Birth Certificates (if proved) will be banned
from further Competition.
b. Those Competitors who infringe the WORLD AQUATICS RULES are liable for
disqualification.
c. Referee’s decision shall be the FINAL.
d. Swimming events will be conducted with “ONE START”.

8.0 ENTRIES

a. Clubs are requested to send their entries as per enclosed Qualifying Timings.
This is applicable for those Clubs who are sending multiple entries for each
event. Otherwise, 2 entries can be sent without Qualifying Timings.
b. Relays events will be held in old format no changes in that i.e. Group 1, 2
and 3 boys & girls.
c. All the Entries of Swimming must reach the Hon’ Secretary, K.S.A. along
with the Entry Fees on ‘OR’ before 28th June 2024.
d. All races of 400 m. and above events will be conducted only on TIME TRIAL
BASIS and hence Clubs are requested to send proper timings of their
swimmers to seed them properly.
e. All Clubs are required to send their entries before the last date to enable us
to draw up the heats in advance for the smooth conduct of the Meet.
f. LATE ENTRIES AND & ENTRIES ON DECK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER
ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
g. As we are using meet manager software all entries have to be sent by online
only. If any assistance required the clubs may contact Mr. Rohith Babu, SDO
of K S A.
h. All Outstation Swimmers are required to make own arrangements for their
stay at Bangalore.
11.0 GUIDELINES FOR THE SELECTION OF THE TEAM FOR THE SUB-JUNIOR & JUNIOR
NATIONALS

a. Selection is based on S.F.I. Qualifying Timings for Sub-Juniors & Junior.

(Swimming & Diving)
b. Separate Relay trials for Freestyle will be conducted on required days of the
Championship, to select the best relay team for the National Meet. However,
any other stroke relay trial will be given only on request.
c. Selection for the Sub Junior & Junior team for Individual events will be
based on 2 best timing from all the age group and fastest teams selected by
the selection committee for the relay.
d. For Sub-Jun & Junior Relay Team, the Best Four Swimmers in each Group in
all 50 m, 100 m. & 200 m. relay events will be selected.
e. Selection Committee’s recommendation is FINAL in selecting the state team.

NOTE:
A. 1500M FOR GROUP 1 ON 4TH Evening.
B. 800M FREE STYLE FOR GROUP 1 on 8th Morning AND 1500M FOR
GROUP 2 ON 8TH Evening.
C. Relays events will be held in old format no changes in that i.e. Group 1, 2
and 3 boys & girls.

NOTE :-
1. All events of 400 m. and above including relays will be conducted on Time
Trials basis
2. For all 50 m, 100 m & 200m events, heats will be conducted in the morning
session and Finals will be held in the evening session at 4.30 p.m.
3. Morning events will be held at 8.00 a.m. daily.
