Summary of professional experience


Jayachandran is Senior Consultant part of DNV’s Solar team based in Dubai. He has experience of more than 12 years
in the field of Solar Energy and has vast experience in undertaking Technical Due Diligence for utility scale and C&I
projects (under construction and operational solar plants) covering key areas like Contracts and PPA review, Financial
model review, Asset life extension, O&M review including Contractor performance, Site visit, On site PV module
measurements etc. for projects primarily located in MEA, CIS and India region. Currently he is working in the area of
Green Hydrogen and is supporting government agencies in middle east region to conceptualize and implement their GW
Scale Green Hydrogen project.
Prior to joining DNV, Jayachandran has worked with L&T-Sargent Lundy, India in technical consultancy of large-scale
utility solar power plants, independent engineering, owners engineering and detailed engineering assignments for many
reputed clients. Jayachandran is Certified Energy Manager (CEM) by Bureau of Energy Efficiency, has Master's degree
in Energy Systems from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun and Bachelor’s in Electronics and
Communication Engineering from Anna University.
