 What have you observed about the activity done?

 What do you think are the types of rocks based on the activity done?
 What have you learned from the activity done?

D. Abstraction

1. The teacher will conduct an interactive discussion on the lesson about the Rock forming Minerals by answering
this activity.
2. The teacher will present the topic to the student.

3. During the discussion the teacher will have “Give me a number” activity to test if the students are really
listening to the discussion.

E. Application

1. The class will be divided into five groups in which they will be having an activity called COMPARE ME.

4
2. Each group will put their answer in a ½ sheet of paper.

F. Generalization

 What are the three types of rocks?

 What do you think is the importance of knowing the three types of rocks?

IV. EVALUATION – COMPARE AND CONTRAST

Directions: Write the differences and similarities of the three types of rocks using the TRIPPLE VENN DIAGRAM.
