Active Connection Area

5. As soon as it is connected, the corresponding eWON appears in the Active

Connection area of eCatcher.
6. This area contains the following information:

1. The eWON name as it has been created in your Talk2M account. Clicking on it opens the web
interface of the eWON.

Forgot your Talk2M Password?

declared when you created the user in Talk2M.
To use it on the eCatcher Login page click on the Forgot Password hyperlink.
A Talk2M web page opens in your default browser. Encode your Account and Username and click on
Reset Password. You’ll get an email with a temporary (2 hours) link allowing you to set a new password.

eCatcher Connection Settings

1. The eCatcher connection settings can be accessed from the Settings link on the login
page.
2. By default, eCatcher is configured in Auto-Detect mode. This means that eCatcher will
first try to establish the VPN connection in UDP mode and, if this does not work, it will
automatically fallback in TCP mode. Alternatively, you can force eCatcher to use only
one of the modes.
3. If you need to encode a Proxy Server for the Internet connection, then you must
configure the proxy settings here.

10

need for a dedicated application and a VPN
