a) Visit the Bentley Partner Portal at: https://partners.bentley.com/English/ and click on the ”Partner Sign In” button
if you are already a Bentley Partner.
***Note: The “Apply today” button is exclusively for New Partner companies that wish to apply to the Program.
***Note: Please use Chrome in regular mode as your browser.
b) The Portal uses your Bentley IMS profile / Single Sign-On (SSO). Please, choose your Bentley account or click on
“Use another account”.

c) Now, you can fill out the information requested in the form.
d) Please ensure you accurately declare the expected costs for your MDF activity including the Expected Cost (in USD),
the Requested Amount (in USD), and the expected return (leads & opportunities) for this investment
e) Once you have completed the application, click on “Submit Request”. The page will automatically redirect you to
the Market Development Fund Dashboard

f) If you discover any typos or mistakes in your application, you can always edit it from your Market Development
Fund Dashboard until it is ‘Pending’ stage. To edit the request, simply click on the Request ID or Request Title you
would like to edit

i) Once your MDF request is approved, you will receive an email notification. Please note that the email will also
include the MDF Campaign Code
Note:
1. It is important to ensure you are in constant contact with your Partner Manager and, the Partner Marketing Team
when creating MDF requests
2. The information in this document is considered for demonstration purposes and may vary based on partner region,
location & product. These numbers are not to be used as a ROI % guide
3. It is important for us to know what you plan to do after this activity, and what resources you will be using. Therefore,
please provide accurate information in all fields. Kindly note that applications with incomplete information will be
rejected. The more information that you can provide us with, the better
4. Do not submit applications that have unrealistic revenue generation estimates, these applications may be rejected

c) Find the request to which you wish to add invoices and claim documents. In this case, it is the ‘Engineers Week Q1
2024’ campaign.

e) Name your claim, for this example, we will name it ‘Q1 Engineers Week UK’ - you can choose whatever name helps
you remember the claim best

f) Now fill in how much revenue you have generated or expected to generate from this event. If you generated zero
revenue, or your opportunities have yet to close, please provide a predicted value
h) Now, add your claim amount in USD, and in your Local Currency. This is the amount you wish to claim for your
Marketing Activity. This amount should not be more than the approved amount
i) This dropdown serves as a reminder of what documents you must upload in the box below. You can now upload
your claim documents either by drag and drop or upload them from your computer
Note - Kindly make sure you use the right naming convention for your files
j) Once you have completed the form, click on “Submit Request”. The page will automatically redirect you to the
Market Development Fund Dashboard.
k) Don't worry if you make a mistake, you can always edit & update your application when it is in the ‘Pending’ stage

m) Once your MDF Claim Submission is approved, you will receive an email notification.
